Attended the CAB Downton Abbey fundraiser. Delicious Kapiti boysenberry and chocolate icecream was perfect while waiting for the main movie. Comfortable seats, a bit of rumble from the action movie next door but was able to filter that out easily enough.

I've been going to this cinema since I was in school back when they had the old two story cinema. The owners are very nice people and I've had many great movie going experiences at the Regent. Unfortunately, because I've had a bad reaction to the covid vaccine I'm unable to get a second dose and therefore not allowed to see a movie. As a massive Batman fan it's going to be hard sitting this new one out.

Such a cute wee theater. Staff were really friendly. Seats and floors cleaned upon entry. Cinema is was easy to find although access needs to be named clearer. 4 stars just cause it is a bit expensive. All up I would go again.

Watched Spider-Man NWH had a great time. Staff let us stay for post credit scenes, even though it was the last screening of the night.

I went to Jungle Cruise, a friendly pair of sales representatives happily sold me tickets, drinks and popcorn. The movie was humorous, and more fantasy than adventure but filled 120 minutes in a comfortable seat in a warm cinema.

Love going to the Movies, always Excellent service everytime. And Its my son's favourite place to be. We never get tired In going to the Regent Cinema, sometimes we just go there to hung out and play games. I highly recommend Regent Cinema, Ashburton 🍿

I went and watched the movie "Music" today at 6:30pm. $17 for the ticket. $8.50 for the large popcorn. Good quality cinema, very friendly staff member. Great experience at the pictures/movies/theatre. - 12 Feb 2021

Reasonably good cinema, I was pleased to find the pricing wasn't too much more than the Christchurch cinemas being the only one in ashburton. Selection of new release movies is on par with others, probably a decent choice of cinema to visit if you don't like feeling overcrowded as most of the time there aren't too many other people unless it's a first viewing of a really hyped up film. Staff are polite and friendly, will go back next time there's something worth watching.

Lovely small cinema, good service. Popcorn was nice. I saw mamma mia and in the theater there was this thing from the sealing that went around, just a shame that that was also visible on the screen... seeing a worm shape going across it multiple times was distracting... I got a reply that the problem was fixed and I could come and see a movie for free. I went to another movie, this time 'Book Club' in that same theater and the problem was fixed, great!

A quaint little two cinema theatre. Friendly service. Foyer has a table and chairs and a magazine rack. electronic games and a couch. Usual cinema fare for nibbles. Toilets were clean and smelt fresh. Lots of film posters everywhere. Cinema was cosy - this is a rural town. Smart fabric seats in red - big and soft cushioning. Good space between rows of seats. Speakers were like huge balls. Good quality. Screen is raised above head level so you need to look up slightly. Bits of popcorn everywhere - but this is the experience. The day I went was extremely hot outside and the air conditioning in the theatre was just right. Movie: Paddington 2. Parking is all around.
