We went to the tinwald domain for a family bbq. We used the covered area with bbq it was great the toilets were nice and close too. There were lots of areas to play games. We also learned one of us is a duck whisperer 😊 we will definitely be back. 👍👍👍

Beautiful place. Love it when I'm greeted by the local waterfowl who hurry over to see if you have anything to offer them. Nice clean toilet facilities.

Great place for a pee. Ducks were of a beautiful colouring. Would recommend if you’re keen for a quick wee.

The pond could do with a clean.Benches need cleaning as well.The swimming pool is a very nice setting well worth a return visit.

A really nice place to visit on a sunny day. There is a small lake with lots of ducks, a swimming pool( which might not be open most of time haha), golf course and 3 tennis courts( one of them is in pretty bad shape but other two are good) and a train museum, which is really cool. A must visit if you want an old school feel. There is a walking/running track around the lake if you are into that plus there is a small playground for kids.

Lovely facilities. Well managed camping ground. Ideal for those traveling with dogs as Domain is beside camp. Discounts for NZMCA members but usual rates are still very reasonable.

The Tinwald Domain is another excellent spot to stop for a rest and a picnic. There are always plenty of ducks that want you to feed them.

Good place for a short journey break. Nearby attractions - lake and vintage rail exhibits Good clean public toilets. Overnight camping.not permitted.

Fantastic park. Lots of work been done to improve the park. New ablution block plus kitchen and laundry. All easy to access and wheelchair friendly. Security gates installed at entrance to the park.

The domain is absolutely beautiful. So amazing seeing so many ducks and having ducklings milling about my feet

Geese always surround me and hiss violently...the same one with the red beak ... he really has a problem. However pokemon gyms are there so has to be done.
