R. H.Stayed one night,will definitely be coming back to stay longer, shower was hot. Toilets were clean.and the walks were beautiful. Prices are great and affordable, and payments online was easy. Place was clean.. was a safe...so please,if you stay there,do your part to keep it clean. Happy travels.

With some neat little walks
H. M.This was the cheapest place I stayed in all of New Zealand. $7 for shower kitchen site and was unmanned just threw cash in envelope on the way in, amazing. Cemetery next door and Nature/trail on the other side, amazing bird sounds, strange place but I loved it. Short drive into Palmerston North the next day, was a very stress free site on the way and crazy good value. May want to just bring a tap connector if you are needing to refill your water I think it was missing when I was there but that's pretty common while camping.

H. M.A great little park, with lots of trees, gardens and wide open spaces. It has a very extensive playground with a big variety of equipment. It includes stuff for both the little ones and the more adventurous. The Ashhurst Domain is a great place for a break to either stretch the legs or as an excursion from Palmerston North. It also has a good picnic area as well as clean and tidy toilets. It is worth stopping here.
N. W.Great public area. Affordable camp fees and easy to pay options. Free hot clean showers and toilets. Plenty of rubbish disposals. Pet friendly with lots of walking areas. Highly recommend 10 out of 10.

D.A nice peaceful place. There are public toilets, plenty of trees, a camping area, and the Manawatu and Pohangina rivers are only a short 10-15min walk away along a choice of walking/cycling trails.
