I can't agree more with other reviewers. Daryl is a top guy. Straight up, honest, knowledgeable and competent. New key remote works great at a fraction of the price quoted by the dealers. Happy to recommend to all.

I have used Exact Key Service and Locksmiths 3 or 4 times over the last 10 years! Same top service very time, Nice guy, parking right at the front door, very easy to find as it's very well sign posted, very good pricing and very little wait time as he gets right on to the job! Has a big range of keys and had what I needed for a very hard key to cut, gave me great advice on what to do about a lost car alarm remote (saved me big $) keep up the great work! 😀

Would give Daryl 6 stars if I could! Really clear communication and prices. Very friendly, knowledgeable guy, and did an amazing job of making us a new transponder key for our Audi A3. Is much more robust than the original one, and was a very reasonable price. We live on the other side of the bridge, but as far as I'm concerned the service and quality is well worth the drive.

I first made use of Daryl's service around 3 years ago when I needed a spare key/remote for my Toyota Caldina. The local Toyota Parts Dept was talking $260.00+. I located Daryl on a Google search and was impressed with him from the start. He duplicated the original key/remote, and couriered it back to the top of the South Island promptly. Impressive! Moving forward to January 2020, My wife's car is a 2006 Suzuki Swift, which had two key remotes when we purchased the car May 2019. Neither remote worked, but the key worked fine. We got fed up one day and I contacted Daryl again. No trouble said Daryl, I can fix both for $150,00. Sent them up from the South Island last Thursday, and they were at my back door on the Tuesday! One had a new key and a new casing as well as the remote itself being repaired. Absolutely brilliant service and I am telling all my family and friends about Exact Key and Remote service. Thanks Daryl, you are amazing. Move forward again. December 2020. My wife broke off the remote key to her Suzuki Swift. Without hesitation I emailed Daryl, and forwarded the remote key the same day. Within 5 working days, the key with the new remote body was delivered to my door by courier. ( and we live in the South Island) Brilliant service, very reasonable charges, and friendly but professional communication. I highly recommend Daryl to everyone I can.

I popped in to Exact Key Service and Locksmiths yesterday after finding them on Google and found Daryl to be very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave me a couple of options and sorted out a spare key for my Toyota Rav4 quickly at a very competitive price. I have no hesitation in recommending to anyone needing chipped keys, etc.

We needed an electronic key for a Nissan Qashai .I sent Daryl Turner a photo of the key to be copied. He quoted a price and said it would take him 30 minutes to do the job if I took him the car and the original key. I made an approximate time to do this. True to his word the job took less than 30 minutes, the key works perfectly and the price was nearly $100 LESS than the quoted price. Daryl was friendly, professional, honest, generous and efficient.

I was struggling nearly broken my remote control car key(mini cooper). Seriously I needed to buy new one($450). I was so panic with this situation. I gave up nearly. Finally, it was my last chance I came to Daryl. He fixed my remote car key perfectly. He saved my money as well. He is definitely great magician. I'm very happy.

Fantastic service, was able to sort us out with a Nissan Wingroad fob/key *on the spot* during Lockdown v2.0 only took 15 mins or so and we had a good yarn while he got everything set for us.

Efficient and friendly service and honest pricing. Ordered a Camry Hybrid backup key, came within 2 days and only took 15 minutes to programme. Very pleased all round and will definitely use Daryl again.

Brought a car and the remote key didn't work. Got a locksmith to look at it who claimed he could fix car remote keys. 3 days later and still he's fiddling with it unsuccessfully. Took it to Daryl at Exact Key Service - and he fixed it and had it working in 15 minutes. Really impressed and grateful. Reasonable price too. Thank you Daryl. I got a remote key that works! Cool!

I contacted Daryl on Thursday and was able to book in for that Sunday (awesome) Knew exactly what was wrong with the key, made a coded copy and fixed the original in no time at all. Highly recommend to everyone with key/lock issues. Also my son absolutely loved your bike, he hasn't stopped saying he wants one. Hope you get time to get it up and running :)

Darryl is our service provider of choice personally and for our Archer Rd, North Shore automotive business The Local Garage Auckland. We did shop around mobile cutters but quickly found that Darryl has a superior knowledge that we and our clients are looking for. Excellent services at an excellent rate thankyou.

Daryl knows his stuff! Not one misstep, especially on a car like a VW which is tough to copy. He happily explained the entire process, tested the remote and transponder, and made sure all was well before I drove off. The replacement is a quality key and indistinguishable from the original. Saved me $300 compared to VW dealerships. Can’t recommend his services enough! Thanks Daryl!

Visited Daryl this morning for a new remote key for my Nissan Primera. No appointment and it took less than 45 minutes, and cost less than half what Nissan would have charged me! Really friendly guy who explained my options and is clearly passionate about doing a good job and offering great value to his customers. Programming the boot opening command to the remote proved a little tricky but he got it! When I left he exclaimed "that's one more car that couldn't beat me" - and I doubt he comes across many cars that can. Highly recommended!

This guy is absolutely amazing. He puts a massive effort to make sure the customer is happy. He will also cut keys that other locksmiths say are impossible. If you need a key cut, phone this guy first. Very professional, great pricing, best service, absolutely recommended!

Emailed in relation to wanting a spare VW key. Turned out i found a spare so didnt need one. However i did find Daryl to be very informative and helpful and his prices seemed reasonable to me. In the event i lose a key i will be going straight to him.

What a fantastic service experience! Daryl was excellent to deal with, very experienced and helpful. I thought I was looking at an expensive dealership replacement remote when the new battery I fitted did not fix it. Daryl tested the unit, diagnosed the re-programming problem and re-coded the remote back to the car. All this while I waited for only a few minutes AND then did not even charge for resolving the problem - OUTSTANDING - THANK YOU DARYL! Karen Knight
