K.Unique local community market with verity organic vege and fruuits, take leisure moment in sunny Sunday morning.
M.Such a funky space with permanent art, facilities to host different groups, a GP clinic, Citizens Advice Bureau, kids playground with on site parking
G.Great community centre that has all kinds of interesting things going on. The building has a good sized hall and 4 more smaller sized rooms along with a small, useful kitchen. FYI Cutting Edge drama classes are held here and they are AWESOME.
B.Awesome place great Sunday morning farmers market
L.Nice location and large playground. The parents I met there were lovely people! However, the current immigration advisor at Grey Lynn Community Centre is literally one of the most racist people I've ever met! She's the kind of people that needs to be sent back to kindergarten and learn how to be kind at 40 years old. However, she might have some mental issues if she's not trying to be mean on purpose. There was staff spreading rumors about the parents. Lovely centre manager though, the rest are all good.
L.It was the markets on Sunday. Recycled jars and egg cartons. Jacinda turned up as well.
A.Sent many years here as a youth. Attend many functions here as a adult. Very nice place for birthday parties and functions. Parking is limited but there are heaps of Parking around surrounding streets. Nice play area for kid's, would highly recommend if you are looking for a function venue.
R.A good vibe here. Big hall with rooms for dance or other classes and specialist visits, a deck out the back with an open grassy space, and to top it off a playground. There is off street parking available unless you're there for the farmer's market when it is filled with great stalls.
S.Free Yoga for seniors 65+ every Friday 1pm -1.40pm (term time) Taught by Certified Iyengar Teacher - Sally Haydon. All welcome!
A.Great hall with modern feeling, and fenced playground for the children. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The kitchen is fully functional, and there's also plenty cafés and bars nearby. Parking can be tricky as the available parking spaces are quite limited, and unless you come early you might not get any on the street.
