In addition to sending pictures of the different units that might suit best, they also recommend movers and provide complimentary insurance for your first month of storage. You pay upfront for a month but can get reimbursed for any days you don't use the unit. Highly recommend. :)

S.I have used mount eden storage for 3 months during the transition of selling and buying a new house. i love the flexibility of not having to give long term notice for termination as I wasn't sure when I could move into the new house. Josh and Maria provided fabulous customer service and were very easy to communicate with, and always responded to my email enquires fast.

Its not just the professionalism and slick customer service but wonderfully friendly and helpful staff from start to finish. For example, getting set up with a unit couldn't have been easier, with a phone call to introduce themselves and explain the whole process. On arrival, Maria showed me around and answered all my questions, and has been on tap ever since; from assisting with delivery vehicles and movers to terrific advice about companies to use. Maria is a human dynamo in the office and its been such a pleasure dealing with her and Kennards generally - I can't speak highly enough of their impeccable customer service.
T.I have been using KSS Mt Eden, storage facility for over a year now and have to say that the service provided by the staff here (Maria and Joshua) has been outstanding. Maria was fantastic right from the initial contact and setting up of my account, but I found all staff extremely responsive even over the weekend. Its rare to find customer service at this level anymore and I need to give credit where credit is truly deserved, thank you for making my time with you guys so easy.

A.I can’t imagine an easier storage experience than this. And so affordable too! I could access my stuff at any hour, and when I no longer needed my locker anymore they refunded me for the rest of the month that I’d paid in advance!

w.This review covers the availability of large, self-drive furniture removal vans from this and other Kennards self-storage locations. I have used this vehicle to move large household items in and out of storage, and also from location to location within Auckland, and been very happy with the reasonable charges, van fit out (fridge trolley, blankets and strapping all included), and great service from Kennards staff. A normal NZ car license is required to drive the van, which is fully automatic and easily managed by a careful driver. You don't have to be a self-storage customer either.
C.Great service and clean, well-lighted storage units with plenty of carts. Very convenient location. Had a storage unit for many years and never had any complaints or issues.
A.We always like renting their moving van whenever we have lots of stuff to haul. It's great that they're making it available to anyone even if they're not renting storage at Kennards. K.The best storage facility in the city fringe area. The location is convenient with parking options. The staff is even better in terms of courtesy and customer service. They even have moving vans and trailers for hire. For storage they have different size of units to fit your requirement. I always find it worthwhile to call them for a quote and check availability for my storage and moving requirements. Have been a happy and regular customer of both this and their three kings facility for seven years.

I was looking for boxes for example to ship gear overseas and Maria offered me second hand boxes (in great condition) for free cause otherwise she had to throw them away. She could also not have said anything and have sold me the boxes they sell.
Also we moved from a bigger lockup to a smaller one. Without knowing for sure if we would actually use the smaller lockup, she held the smaller storage for us for a month (because the prices at that time were great). We did end up using the small storage but I confirmed that only after 3 weeks.
I basically hardly write a review but this time I make an exception. I absolutely recommend this storage.

Maria as cool as a cucumber adopted the Kiwi number 8 fencing write ingenuity (literally!) and after 30-40 minutes fished out the keys with wire and a magnet - all on her own with a wee bit of assistance from me (someone needed to shine a light...)
As a customer of Kennards Self Storage this is an experience I will never forget. I could have been paying for the lift maintenance company to come out on one of the busiest days of the year (20/12) and my car would not be going anywhere for hours and hours.

S.This will be the 4th occasion in the last eight or so years that I have relied on Kennards Self Storage to relieve some of the load of stress which seems to be an unavoidable (for me, certainly!) aspect of moving house.
Their systems, organisation of necessary facets of 24/7 access and calm, clear approach in finding solutions is second to none. I say this as someone who has also felt the stern side of their credit control as an occasionally less-than-organised late bill-payer.
I had already had the pleasure of meeting John - currently at Mt Eden - when he’d looked after me and my partner at Three Kings, so it was no surprise to find him to be very helpful, positive and amiable.
Maria too, is indefatigably positive and solution focussed, a live wire for sure and a pleasure to deal with.

M.Ok.we used them to carry x11 pallets of lighting we couldnt fit in our warehouse.Nice clean establishment, trolley Jack's and trolleys available for use. Big dry secure and safe storage units, a little costy. Would only use them again because they're close too our business.

But I got this incredible 5* service from the two amazing people at Mt Eden; heaps of helpful insight into packing and moving in the right size/material, smiles, friendly conversation, a glass of water (super hot day), help loading into the Uber, and I almost forgot, boxes!

S.I first discovered Kennards Self Storage through work. We needed items being shipped in to the country safely stored until we could take them to our customers. We chose Kennards because they had such a fantastic range of options and services, like 24/7 access, a corporate option that would include arranging to put the delivered items in the storage room for us when we weren't present to receive the deliveries plus a raft of size and convenience options, as well as meeting our need for professionalism and a high standard of care. This arrangement went on for a about 10 months until we no longer needed the storage. Then about a year later I inquired about storage for personal items, as I was moving house and wanted to move things into storage early so that the actual moving day would be much less stressful. It gave me a chance to sort through things in my own time leading up to the move and also meant leaving the old house didn't need to be "the day from hell", cos much of it had already been moved into storage in the preceding month or two prior to the leave date. When I came back to arrange this personal storage Leon remembered me, and gave me a great rate for personal storage! Honestly, it has made the whole process affordable, easy and restored sanity to one of life's most stressful events - Moving house!! Thanks Leon and Thanks Kennards!

A.The site is so much bigger than it looks like from the outside; as it got several floors underneath. Have variety of storage space to rent, and each have its own locked door. Just make sure that you remember where you're going as you can easily get lost. You can also easily access your storage after hours.

T.I have been storing some personal belongings at Kennards Self Storage Mt Eden for over a year now and have allways found the premises to be clean and tidy. The access area is spacious and easy to use and the staff are allways friendly and helpfull. The building is modern and purpose built. I would recomend thier storage facilities to anyone who needs easy access 24/7.
C.Such kind and great service! They really want to make sure you are properly set for your move or storage. The only thing I suggest is to maybe call them to ensure they're open. They don't seem to share their holidays correctly... so, just make sure to call first before going.
