Had a blood test at Labtests Mt Eden this afternoon.
Upon arrival I informed them that even at my age I was embarrassed to say I was needle phobic and that I had phoned Labtests earlier in the week and they had informed me to ask for a senior phlebotomist to draw the blood.
So I did that and wow - had a very lovely lady who had been a phlebotomist for 22 years! She was caring and empathetic to my fear of needles - resulted in a painless experience - amazeballs!
Short wait too which at 4.30pm was fantastic!
Being needle phobic I would therefore totally recommend Labtests in Mt Eden - just superb!

J. M.I went there on a busy Saturday morning to have bloods done. The labtest phlebotomist was very professional and even took time to asking me how was my day etc. The clinic was very busy when I walked in, most technicians were all in 'good spirits'.
The phlebotomist she definitely made me feel like a 'person' instead of being just another patient.
c.no waiting times, there was a mistake with my blood test however which led to unnecessary stress (EDIT: im changing my rating to 5 stars because i went again to get a blood test, i fainted in the bathroom and they took great care of me)

Until today my little girl had a fear of needles, due to some recent experiences.
Sonu was so kind and put her at ease straight away. There were no tears and she even walked away with a bravery certificate - a perfect idea to help kids through this!
A. K.Location is very convenient - next to a bus stop and ample car parking in the adjacent lane. Limited parking available for visitors. Ambience is clean. Lot of customers so expect delays. Organized way of attending and calling out the patients. Temperature maintained atmosphere within the clinic. Staff is helpful and takes care of the needs. Overall a good experience. Feedback would be to may be increase rooms.
R. M.Wow I really recommend Sonu! I rocked up for a standard blood test, braced for the staff to tell me my veins are small, I'm not drinking enough water etc (always happens). Sonu found a good vein straight away, talked to me throughout the process so I was calm & it was over so quickly! Highly recommend Sonu👍

D. K.There is always a bit of a wait but the staff are fast and friendly, even when they are super-busy. They always have time for a quick chat, and the staff are amazing at taking bloods. I've only had one really painful time in my many years of coming here, and I wish I'd said something at the time.
There's lots of easy street parking on the side street as well as a small customer parking area behind the building.
I like their new-ish system of taking a number and scanning the barcode so that your number is logged. It's easier to hear a number being called out than someone unfamiliar calling your name.

A.It was a long wait the day I visited lab testing. I found that despite the long wait the customer service was exceptional. It was a really wet day and my phone was flat and I didn't know how to get to my next destination. Labtests Google mapped my next destination and showed me how to get there. Beautiful needle work I didn't feel a thing.
