Amazing place for kids, the best play ground we liked so far. We have been a regular visitor to this place for a few years. Big space, once our kids get in, they never want to come out. Café made perfect coffee and food; staffs are friendly and willing to help. I would highly recommend to friends other family members to visit. Keep the hard work and thank you to the team at Magic Loft !!

This place was perfect. Had my daughters 1st birthday here. We privately hired the whole space and it was amazing! The owner and staff were very welcoming and super helpful. Catered to all our needs and just made things so easy for us. Highly recommend for birthday parties, parents can sit back and relax. Thank you once again!

Place is great but the toilets are disgusting, looked like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks! Red rings around the plug holes in basins and no hand soap. When told about there being no hand soap, none was added. Something needs to be done about the cleanliness of the place but otherwise good place for kids to play.

Magic Loft was really fun! The staffs were really friendly and the food was very tasty especially the kumara chips. I recommend to play here if you have kids.

The place is big and spacious, the cafe have a lots of seats for parents to sit. A good place for kids to pass their time and hold a birthday party 🥳

Great place to bring the kids with a vast array of activities. Good defined age specific areas. Has trampolines, ninja course, race track, lots of climbing, ball pit etc etc. Even better for the adults the cafe is actually good! Nice coffee and range of food. Oh and free wifi

We have been to Magic loft twice now and my daughter says she dreams of going here, our kids are 5 and 8 and they absolutely love Magic loft it has everything to offer with a huge space that is extremely clean. No doubt we will be back soon

Very clean and safe place for toddlers to let them have variety of sensory plays. My little one enjoyed bouncing, climbing, swinging, crawling and riding karts. The cafe needs a change in their way of severing coffee as it was not warm and what you were ordered.

Really cost effective, plus no time limit. Charges are per day so ages 3-12 is $22.90 I believe for the day. Really cool

Pretty awesome experience for the kids: this place is huge and has soft play for all ages, and larger trampolines for older kids. Cafe is well-stocked and reasonably priced. They have kids party rooms for birthday events, too. Overall, it's clean and well-maintained. 😎

New, clean good cafe for parents and the kids had a great time. It's like a cross between the old Chipmunks and Jump but better!! Worth the higher pricing.

Wow the kids love this place!! Birthdays in one of the rooms or just an afternoon of great holiday activities. I always have to go find the kids when it’s time to leave. Usually we stay right close because they are having too much fun. Cafe is decent but could improve the adult food selection to include some more healthy or fresh made cafe options. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful. All in all a great place to visit if you’re stuck for ideas for the kids and they have energy to burn.

Edited to 5 star July 2021 after many visits now, honestly don’t know what many of the whiny 1 stars in relation to busy or overcrowding are on about. Simply ‘Choose your times’ wisely like any sought after Auckland destination, bear in mind fellow Aucklanders, of the thousands of other people that have the same idea the same day. Early morn or afternoon is best, turn up midday, it’s your own fault if it turns into an epic fail. Or, if you have under 5s, go on a weekday, it would be mad to turn up here with an under 5 on a weekend it’s too much for little ones on busy weekends. This place rules, took me a while to come to that but once used to the place definitely I see how cool for kids it is. Choose your time going there is all you need to do. Food here is good, toilets are good/ok depending on how busy, staff have always seemed friendly enough, is tidy & well kept. Pretty grand considering there’s not much of this around. Plenty of parking depending on tempo. Kids love it & that’s really the main thing! Good times! Cheers

My child loves this place and it is a good place to get them to burn through their energy. $12 per child under 3 during Covid restrictions was a good deal. Even for the two hour limit. However! The large ball pit needs a good thorough clean and removal of all of the broken plastic balls. And the purple slide in the young kids area is way too fast. My toddler went down and hit her head coming down. Remove it or fix it.

A great place for all aged children. Soft play, go carts, trampolines, ninja courses. Cafe for food. No external food or drinks allowed but you can leave, eat and come back. When we go, we are there for hours. Today 2.5hrs and only left for swimming lessons.

Had my daughters birthday party here on Saturday. Wasn't too sure at first with all the bad reviews people were giving the place in August but gave them a shot anyway and it was fantastic. We went prepared based on the reviews given. We brought our own lighter, cake knife, decorations that were easy and quick to bin once the party was over, spare napkins and plates for adult guess etc. Staff were fabulous, helpful and friendly. The food were delivered on time, the whole place is clean, huge play space for kids, we were there from 9am to 1pm playing. Two kids couldn't attend last minute and staff happily exchanged their wristbands for free entry tickets for my own kids to use next time. Only thing I would suggest is to change their coffee. It's very weak and watery at the moment. Overall, good place to hang out and chill.

Staff are friendly, equipment is quite clean, but quite pricey. Let the kids run wild while you read the news at the cafe in the same building!.... OR! Sneakily join in on your child's adventures! (caution: can only play with my child discreetly, haha. As "no adults allowed on play equipment" signs are present). We love it, well done magic loft team. :)

Great indoor playground for the kids. The place is massive with different zones for kids of all sizes. There's a good cafe for the parents. Parking is a bit of an issue at peak. Especially when people don't follow directional arrows. Reverse park if you can which will help you getting out

You know you're a parent when you look for a place to go to where the kids can go bonkers and exhaust themselves just so you can have that quiet drive back home. This place has it all - food, massive playground, trampolines, under 5's area, even a racecourse with the coolest bikes! Oh and forgot to mention - coffee! Gotta have a cuppa. I've been here a few times now and each time we go I've always been greeted with a smiling face, such lovely staff. Higly recommend 😁👍🏻

We had a great experience at Magic Loft Playground & Cafe, the kids played their hearts out at the well designed playground that caters for different age groups and has good diversity. The cafe is well priced for a snack or something to drink and quality was reasonable. The car park was quite full, but is to be expected on a busy day. All and all, a great day out.

I met a friend from Browns Bay here on Friday. I had read the reviews so I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff who greeted us where very friendly the place was spotless and the cafe staff where nice. We brought our own snacks for the kids which was no issue and we got some tea and cakes. They even filled up the kids water bottles in the kitchen. The only downfall was the price. $45 for 2 kids for a couple of hours is very dear. We would have stayed longer only it got very busy with school holiday programmes and it was very warm! Overall the experience was good though!

As a play ground for kids it has a lot going for it. They've catered for different ages well. However they need to work on 1. The place has inadequate ventilation in summer. It's a sauna and this means little ones tire quickly. I don't know how you cool a building that big but there's people out there that do. 2. The food options for adults is a bit limited in the party rooms. Either a tray of fried snacks (excellent quality) or 16 slices of pizza for $50. They could offer platters and I'm sure people would pay a premium. 3. The staff were a bit gormish. Serving the adults before the kids. 4. They need a filtered cold water fountain or tap in the cafe. However I think it's good value for parties and the kids love it so the core idea is sound. 👍

After all the shocking reviews I was very worried about having my sons 3rd birthday here, while booking the staff were not very responsive but on the day all went well. All the complaints here made me aware to take my own knife to cut the cake, a lighter for the candles and take your own additional paper plates napkins and cups and everything goes pretty smoothly it’s not rocket science the room is booked for an hour only and they are turning the party rooms over very quickly so not the right place for a party if you need more time, maybe not great for a 1st birthday but worked well for a 3rd birthday the kids had such a blast, all in all Went pretty well and 1 happy birthday boy

It definitely is the biggest indoor playground we have been to, however it is also on the extremely pricey side. The staff are very off hand, and I certainly didn't feel comfortable to ask them anything. It is too hot inside (and it wasn't even very hot outside today). Water would be good to be available without having to ask the unapproachable staff. The carpark was full, but it didn't feel overwhelming inside, which means they have the space right. People leaving bags on tables in the cafe for hours unattended is unfair on those of use who just want to eat quickly and get the kids back out playing. The kids had a great time, but it is unlikely we'll be back due to cost and basically feeling unwelcome.

I think this place is pretty good the playgrounds were really fun to go on. And my friends and I enjoyed it, the only thing is when we dive into the sponge ball pit, the broken bits of sponge got stuck to our socks... please consider using something else to cushion a persons landing.

Great place for kids 3+. My 4.5 year old had a really good time. My 1 year old also enjoyed it, but there are not as many activities for little ones. We were there on a weekday so not many other people were there, and we were allowed on all areas so made it a bit more exciting. One strong Recomendation would be to separate toilet and play area or provide some footwear to visit toilets. Since all shoes are left behind the gate, kids run in to the toilets in their socks and then back to the play area. Not very hygienic and could be problematic in years to come.

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to go. But we went and formed our own opinions. Most of the reviews are accurate, it is fairly clean, cafe is big with heaps of high chairs and OK food (not great!). The service is appalling... no friendly greeting, no smiles or help/assistance with anything. (ie - showing us where the lockers/bathrooms/age appropriate play areas are). It was OK value for money though, considering it’s unlimited time and there are lots of things to play on. They definitely need to sort out aircon - it was like a sauna in there and this is only in the middle of spring on a weekday (not crowed with people!). Fantastic concept for kids, just some areas need amending!

4 and 2 year old loved it. Clean and tidy. Unfortunately had to wait 40 minutes for food and came out in dribs and drabs. Didn't seem to be many staff around ensuring safety, and not sure if there was a limit on the number allowed to enter, but all in all a really good day out for the kids and lots to do.

Enormous indoor playground. It looked clean and tidy. My daughter absolutely loved her time here. Convenient comfy cafe available for the adults while kids are happily entertained for hours. I like that there are separate zones for different age group's.

Daughter (5yo) loved it! Bright, airy and clean. Thought a bit pricy at first but we were there for 4 hours and the kids food portions were huge.

Chaotic! But was a rainy Saturday. Toilets a bit grubby. A lot of kids not being properly supervised by parents getting a bit full on with the smaller children. Lots of different activities so hours of entertainment

We had a good experience here today as we did not have a party nor need the cafe. Car parks were available when we arrived at 10.30 on a Saturday morning but it was chaos and a poorly organized carpark when we left. Cool facility. Nice and new. We will be back but on a day or time with much less people.

Great for younger kids wouldn't go if over 12. Playground is huge trampoline parks good as well. The cafe was also very nice.

Im writing this because i read a few reviews trying to decide whuch one to go to and was surprised at some of the comments. For context im a grandad in my sixties. Ive been to a few of these elsewhere. I took four grandkids fairly late on a Saturday. Arrived about 4.30 and expected to be there until they closed at 6.00 but you are given the message they want you to leave at 5.30 and at 5.50 everyone is told to go. Just so you know. Cost...these places are expensive but not that much more than most other organised activities, zoo, rainbows end etc. Plus with some effort you can actually find out what it costs before you go. If you think its too expensive then dont go. Simples. Socks...my little grandkids all have these anyway. Its clearly stated you need them so bring your own but dont moan having to buy them if you don't. An important safety feature. Gate ..it was left open a lot. It has a child proof latch so im assuming its supposed to be shut. I had 2 x 2.5 year olds and its impossible to watch both at once all the time. Gate should stay shut. I don't know who was leaving it open but there were plenty of bigger kids going back and forth. A self closing mechanism would be a good feature. It looked clean but again all these places are going to be a bit grubby whether you can see it or not. Just need to make sure kids wash hands after a visit imo. If you're a clean freak you wont be going there anyway. I didnt try the food but i would suggest give any kids a snack before you go so you dont need to buy food there. They will need water of course, got pretty hot in there even on a cold day. I had a coffee which was ok. Maybe a dollar dearer than normal. As for not being able to bring your own food because of food safety regulations as the response to one review said...hahaha very funny. Just be honest. Anyway, if thats a deal breaker for you go to Party Kingdom in Stanmore Bay. Staff...no one was rude. Lady at check in was very pleasant and helpful. But she was possibly one of few english speaking staff?? At one point i went to the counter to buy socks (for me...) and a staff member just carried on her phone call and ignored me despite plenty of eye contact. She was eventually rescued by another staff member. Otherwise they looked a bit fed up but i probably would be too if i was still working at 5.30 on a Saturday night. Parking is good really and much better than the one in Albany even on the weekend. We actually went there first and I got lucky with a carpark right outside but it was rammed solid. Hence trip to Magic Loft. I wouldnt bother going to Albany during the week based on this experience. Overall i will go back. A quieter time might be more relaxing for me but maybe not as much fun for the kids. They all wanted to go again the next morning. They would have got four stars if the gate hadnt been left open.

Kids had fun. Place was overcrowded with no adult staff supervision. Adults using play equipment. Underage children on equipment specifically age limited.

A bit pricey, but good facilities, plenty of room, lots for the kids to do with a mix of climbing and trampolines.

Had a 2 year old bday here in Jan 2020. First impression on arrival outside venue, looks nice and modern. Soon as you walk in and meet staff at reception, happy mood went out the window and sensed a black cloud coming around the corner lol company needs to work on person at the front. Either she hates her job or someone lied on their CV about knowing customer service lol Anyways ... great variety of things for kids all ages to play but major thing to work on is ventilation!!! Cant stress that enough!! It was an extreme sauna in the place when we arrived. Surely this criteria should have been met when building the place but damnnn i dont think we will be back until we hear adequate ventilation has been installed. Def need to add a water fountain or something for kids.

The playground is awesome. Food is average. Dont expect too much customer service with their cafe. Its more like food stall type of service. If we ever go back again, will go there for playground only.

First time visiting, what a great place. Has something for every age group under 12. Great coffee. Clean & tidy. The only negative is it gets very hot in there not enough air flow.

Spent a fun Sunday afternoon as a paying customer. First time visit and would def go back. Play areas were spacious and clean, highlight was the racing car track. Wish the price would be a bit cheaper thou.

Seems like a great place. Does birthday parties. Remember that you need socks to go into the play area, and that means the adults too. Can be quite hot inside during summer.

It's good for kids to play at ,the cafe and restrooms are clean and convenient, their playground park itself is next level, infants toddlers and kids areas for all ages ,heaps of parking lots too ..

It is aways a blast for kids to go and have a days fun here. Food is good and well organized.

I took my 22 month old son and he has soo much fun. Only complaints is cafe food was so expensive but to be expected anyway and the track for older kiddies is quite dangerous as it isnt cordoned off.

Amazing place for the kids they had lots of fun my daughter had the best birthday party there, but the party rooms need more attention and services was missing knife and cutleries had to pop in out to ask for cups for water and napkins for adults food Rather than this the place is very nice.

Expensive 22.90 for 1 child & still have to buy socks to play. Otherwise kids had a blast just think it could be less expensive for an hour or 2 of playtime.

Amazing place, my kids spent hours there! The only thing is the cafe is right in the corner of the play land. So you can't really see your kids from it.

Mate! Stop complaining about people wearing JUMP yellow socks into your play ground. If you think, yellow socks stands for JUMP, what about get more customers who wear yellow socks and show JUMP how good you are! Cuz more yellows on your play ground means you are better. Sock money wont make that profit for you. Forcing clients to buy your socks make me feel bad and sick.

Great playground however the big green wall is very disappointing, you can no longer see your kids in the playground when you're in the cafe. Maybe a glass wall would have been a better choice?
