My Persian cat had a decent grooming session at Scissorshounds and she looks stunning! They also managed to groom her without any sedatives. Highly recommended.

I'd like to give a shout out for this amazing business :) Nico, has been doing an amazing job, and knows exactly how to present our Schnauzer-cross Foxy. He is very friendly, and professional. After a couple of bad experiences with others groomers. We are extremely happy to have found found him.

wonderful service, great cut and they did an amazing job on cleaning her poor ears. Our dog is a Lagotto which is not common but they knew straight away the breed and the appropriate cut!

I took my 5 month old Cocker Spaniel to Nico today for her first groom and am incredibly impressed. Nico took great care in making sure we were on the same page with how I wanted Lexi to be groomed. Lexi looks wonderful and we are delighted with the care and attention Nico showed her. I have already booked my appointments for the rest of the year to ensure we don't miss out. Went in for a nail trim for an incredibly picky pug, was greeted by a gentleman who was serving two other 4 legged customers, he very kindly asked what was needed -- a simple nail trim-- and finished it in under 3 minutes. Very understanding of the dog's needs and very accommodating as he was already busy and was willing to help us. The charge was still a flat $10 despite the dog being a brat, too. Couldn't recommend this groomer more. Incredibly professional, incredibly fast, and very kind and interesting to talk to.

Nico has done an absolutely amazing job on our 14 year old long hair cat. Pixie came home smelling fresh, with a fluffy soft coat and purring happily. We will certainly be returning as regular customers from now on.

Got our dog Eli a trim and he was excellent with him. Very busy time of year and we got a prompt callback saying there had been a cancellation and would we like a spot, he gave us exactly what we asked for and gave a good estimation of time. Very reasonable too :) would reccommend. Eli loves him!

Excellent professional service. My dog suffers from terrible anxiety so grooming is always very stressful for us both. She was looked after, given the best groom ever and the turnaround was very quick so she wasn’t too stressed. Can’t thank you enough.

Nico and Angelo were spectacular. You can tell the people that they really care about the animals. They are always professional and I am always amazed at how they try to go above and beyond to make their customers and their pets happy. I would highly recommend this shop and have done so many times.

Professional and caring team of people who are really interested in the well-being of our pets. I took my best friend Max for his first grooming when he was still a puppy and he was treated very well. Both Gelo and Nico are very accommodating. I booked my dog for grooming andit came out very well. Im having a hard time looking for a groomer that could do the asian style cut for my dog. But here, they did. My dog was so lovely after the groom. Will highly recommend this. Will definitely be back.

We were putting off taking our 2.5 yr old Maltese to the groomer. We have been unhappy with groomer (only one) for sometime and the last time I HAD IT!!! So, I interviewed a groomer in GI, had 3 visits (unsuccessful) and was feeling very discouraged. (And our little guy VERY SHAGGY) we know our lil guy somewhere along the line may have gone through something traumatic due to his sometimes behaviour. I heard and saw the signs for Scissorhounds so I made the appointment... scared all the way until I took him, set him down and he went to Angelo!!!! Let him pick him up!!! And..... finished early to find.... it was THE BEST GROOMING/CUT Paulie has EVER HAD!!!!! We cannot say enough about this facility!!! The owners are REMARKABLE! Like dog whisperers. Thank you, thank you THANK YOU!!!

Fabulous - the head groomer has looked after my pup and he clips and trims the nails without distressing the dog ..he definitely has a way with animals ...excellent groomer highly recommend!

Nico gave Eddie his first puppy groom 6 years ago and its so nice to continue Eddie's grooming with him. My miniature schnauzers always look so handsome afterwards.
