Susan is a professional violin teacher, and she is rigorous and responsible to every student. My daughter has been studying with her for more than three years. She likes Susan very much and accepts her guidance very much. This year my child has passed ABRSM with distinction results.

Susan is a fabulous violin teacher. My 12 year old boy becomes more enjoyable playing violin and has improved a lot than ever since he has been learning with Susan for nearly 1 year. She is always patient, energetic and detailed, her loving approach and flexible style are really impressive. she teaches him lots of techniques and various alternatives which largely enhanced his overall capability, she also resourced plenty to inspire him into music. She’s been a tremendous help to achieve his goal. He has just accomplished grade 3 and heading for grade 5 next year. I couldn’t recommend Susan more as a great violin teacher!

Susan is a professional violinist, and is a passionate teacher who has the energy and passion to keep my daughter motivated. My daughter picked up the violin quickly. Susan has been a tremendous help in getting me to achieve my viola goals. She is patient and flexible and every lesson has been catered to my needs. Her methods are very clear and she explains them with great detail, which has been instrumental in bringing about my quick progress. Within a year I was able to pass Grade 2 with distinction and be accepted into the premier orchestra at my high school. She is very encouraging and inspirational and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a music teacher.

As a late starting student, I couldn't recommend Susan enough. She took me from never having picked up a violin, to playing in a community orchestra within three years. The lessons are throughly enjoyable, and not endless scales and arpeggios. Susan's method is easy to understand and quick to grasp, and she can tailor it to the music that inspires you.

"Our children Gabrielle (15 yrs.) and Nathan (13 yrs.) began to learn the violin with Susan about four years ago. During this time, their technique has improved tremendously and they now play with a richer tone and vibrato. Susan has taught them many new techniques, and gives them various tips to strengthen their overall capability. Her style of teaching is one of coach, mentor and guide. From the way she teaches the children, we know that she is passionate about the violin and this comes through strongly. She is patient but firm with the children and her loving approach has made learning the violin an enjoyable experience for the children.
