J. P.Impressive complex. The Surf Club should be allowed to serve meals if they so wish. The local cafe doesn't operate after 5pm & shouldn't have the monopoly on this busy beach area. There are enough customers to share.
L. M.Enjoyable day out, 30 minutes drive from west Auckland.
Local artists display of art at the Muriwai Surf Club. Visited the Gannet Colony and a walk along the beach.

the water is a bit rough for swimming, not a beach I recommend for children to be on their own. Good for surfing
the Sunf club is very nice, Clean and fairly new.
for non - New Zealanders I would say becareful driving, the road is very Windy. and bit bumpy

A. T.Surfclub blends into its surroundings well .. park ranger and surfclub have been accommodating and letting people travelling use parts of park and surfclub grounds to camp or park up for nite as campground not open yet. Thanks you 😊
