Sandy was awesome. But delivery of the products I ordered from their trade show was so slow. Only after I followed up after a few weeks did the stuff got delivered. I even had to pick up an item from their East Tamaki branch, 40 minutes out of my way.

As a plumber and gas fitter I deal with Universals on a regular basis. Any problems that I may have with a product they replace, or organise to get it fixed straight away, no questions asked (it has only happened once in my 14 years dealing with them). There prices are very competitive with other plumbing suppliers. So much so that they supplied all the fittings and fixtures for my own bathroom! I recommend these guys to all my customers because I know they will be helped out by knowledgeable staff and great customer service.
