Great place for kids and adults . The atmosphere is great, although a bit humid with lots of people in there. Prices are good for TimeZone bit. Bowling quite expensive for two games. You can even choose your own music for them to play - through the Crowd DJ app. Recommend this place to everyone. But have your vaccine pass ready 🙂

Took my son and my nephew to Zone Bowling today as a little treat before the school holiday ends and it was great. The staff were amazing and friendly and a big shout out to the girl in the grey shirt who helped us out and made sure that we were taken care of properly by showing us to our lane and also making sure that my boys had the best time! The prices were reasonable and the laser tag was the best part of the day. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

We had a kids birthday party there and it was a blast. We got loads of free stuff over and above the package. We got free gaming credits and free bumper cars. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The party host was amazing and everyone had a great time. The manager was also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

The best party experience for my 7 year old! I cannot thank Keenan enough for looking after a group of chanting boys with such patience… and the service he offered as our party host was just top level. Everything was organised perfectly but nothing seemed to be a hassle to change- I could not rave about this venue more and we most definitely will be back!

WONDERFUL PLACE!! Really clean and very exciting place, me and my two kids went there yesterday and can confirm that we will be going back again! The staff on were really attentive, helping my son with getting a card, putting the bumpers up for his bowling and helping him pick something to go home with. Special mention to 'T' i think his name was, ran multiple bumpers for me and my kids and also really helpful with what games we could play.

Very happy with party, exceeded our expectations. Great value for money, bowling, arcade, laser tag. Food was very good, party bags provided and points for the kids to get items at the store. Party host Keegan was very good. I would highly recommend party at this venue.

First time trying out the Bowling here, as been here plenty of times for Timezone games previously. I was worried they would not have enough ramps for the children, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was set up. The staff asked me proactively to mark if the kids wanted to have the gate up over the gutters and lots of ramps available. Best to book online to avoid disappointment! Other areas have the usual Timezone games and Lasertag

A little end of the school holidays treat for my kids and it was really great. The staff are very friendly and very welcoming. I purchased the Ultimate Funzone pass and thought that maybe it would be confusing for my little ones but the girl and the guy at the front in the grey shirts helped make sure that everything ran smoothly for them. Definitely would recommend this place to families and I will also be returning here again.

Came for a birthday party, and played bowling.. though the scoring screen had technicalities, it was fixed right away.. many options to play and relax with friends, the zone has a crowdDJ where you can play your favourite music.. food is reasonable price too..

This place is only missing a star because of their food. The actual place itself is amazing and so much fun for everyone. But there food is terrible. We were there and maybe 2 other families. Our food took 45mins to an hour to come out with no warning and 3 young kids. When the food eventually came out the pizza was the only yum dish. The burger had cheap patties in it and the ceaser salad had cheap ham rather then bacon. The salad also took the longest to come out too. The loaded fries also had cheap ham on them which wasn't enjoyable at all.

Keegan was an amazing host. 10/10 for him and the staff were friendly. Only feedback is please train your contact centre staff to give right information when customers call. We had my sons 6th birthday party yesterday and our host was Clarice, she was absolutely amazing, we had to wait 8mins for our bowling lanes so she took her card and took the kids for some free games to keep them distracted. During bowling she brought us water jars and cups for both lanes and also took everyone’s orders double checked with me about everything. During the party she told us we could stay a little longer in the room as kids were still having cake but said if we didn’t mind she would clean up around us, she was absolutely amazing and Zone bowling had everything you needed for a petty from balloons in the room to knife, lighter and server for cake. All of the kids said it was one of the best party’s they have been too so thank you Clarice and Zone bowling for an amazing stress free day.

Xtreme Entertainment could do with some serious improvement. I will only be reviewing the arcade portion of this establishment. Xtreme Entertainment has a large spacious area for the arcade games, but there just isn't a large variety of games. A lot of the machines are old or have faults, there aren't many rhythm games and there aren't many claw machines. This establishment is constantly understaffed, especially during peak times like the holidays. I love that Xtreme Entertainment has a lot of prizes on offer, they have a lot of plushies available to redeem with tickets or buy with your own cash. The plushie prizes here are arguably the best in Auckland. I also love the quality of the customer service, although it depends on what staff members are rostered on (some are very good, others are very slow). Despite the long wait times on weekends and holidays, some of the staff always try their hardest to be helpful and serve customers. The computer system seems very slow and laggy sometimes, as it took one staff member over 5 minutes to complete my prize redemption. Unfortunately, there is only one proper rhythm game (Pump It Up) in the arcade and the pads are nearly unplayable. The pads are not screwed down properly so they wobble a lot during gameplay which makes it harder to play on and the sensitivity is too low. The equipment seems poorly maintained and the fan blowing onto the machine contains a very thick layer of dust (I have posted a picture of the fan in my photos). There's too much empty space, there should be more games available. The establishment in general feels quite grimey and dusty. I think the machines and the fan could do with a good clean out. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoy the prizes available at this location and will collect tickets at other Time Zone establishments in order to save up and come back to redeem more prizes. However, I would not return to play the games until the machines are maintained properly.

Visited on several occasions during summer and while staff are friendly and attentive, there is little to no air conditioning even when busy. Gets especially hot if you’re bowling. Surely this is a hazard during summer and with covid?? Have asked staff numerous times about air conditioner only to be told there was none.

Loads of fun activities. Definitely has upgraded from when we last visited which was years ago. My advice, get you a zone card and keep it even if you aren't a frequent visitor. When you do go and use your card each time I think at certain points you get bonuses. Example when we reloaded our card with $50 we got an extra $50 playing credit. The kids had a really good time. They also have a dine in resraurant area which is nice. During our visit the place was packed with happy people but because there's just so much to do noone had to wait for a game too long. We didn't get to do bowling so next time we will go for that. No bumper karts operating. I wonder if it's because people weren't interested in that ride? Or there was a fault? We didn't ask. Will definitely come back to check more out as we didn't have all day to explore more. Thank you

Pool, Great coffee, food available reasonable priced, great selection of games, bowling, great sounds playing. Importantly when you need attentive and great staff, they were always there ready to help. Birthday rooms available with fridge and storage... great place after renovations late 2020. Games are high tech including multiple VR/movment games, all with movment 'stop' buttons included. So you can game on without little ones been thrown out or hurt.

Had my son's 5th birthday here last night. My boy absolutely loved his party! We got the Arcade party package and I totally recommend this to any large group of kids (and even adults?) (I ate the kids hotdog meal and it was filling!!) Once the children saw the powercards, they all forgot about their meals and ran off to play! A big thank you to Mila who was our party host! Our party room was already set up and ready to go when we arrived. They also had mini gifts for each child (timezone bandanas) which I wasn't expecting, placed on each mini plate! Mila brought in our kids meals and drinks when we requested for it and she was always available to assist with questions and needs we had throughout the night. The powercards were a little tricky with a few machines though, but was told that they need a few swipes on the games to work sometimes which is maybe something you could look into for improvement.. for a smooth sail to enjoying the 90 minutes of free play.. had to ask a few workers for help evey now and then - but the team were always their to help. Thank you again Mila for everything and for making us feel comfortable in using your space! And thank you Timezone for the excellent Arcade party package deal!! We will be back!

New games in, Halo which all the kids loved (4 player) and many more 2 to 4 player games to get everyone involved. Parking was the only drawback and shared with store. Handy is that McDonalds is across the carpark for a feed.

Stupid screen graphics stop your being able to see score. Loud insane music - drives me mad. 2018 update: Things have improved somewhat. 'Music' is not so loud. Place is not so dark. Fewer silly graphics but scores almost impossible to read against background picture. Large screen videos still distracting and annoying.

Update! There is now Dancerush Stardom, this is possibly the first Konami machine in New Zealand that actually supports e-AMUSEMENT! They sell each card for $5 NZD. Still sucks that they don't still don't have SDVX or beatmania here yet.- Xtreme is an Timezone Arcade and a bowling alley. Located next to Botany Town Centre, it's a good place to drop by and have fun if you have the time. Inside they have WMMT, Tekken and a few other common games here and there. Machines are well maintained and regularly cleaned.

Went yesterday with the kids since the revamp, very impressed kids loved it and had fun. The downside is the pepperoni pizza was disgusting and looked like slices of salami on a pastry base ,it wasn't cut properly and my kids had to tear their slices off,my youngest who normally eats anything didn't finish his.I can get a gourmet pizza from my local watering hole that looks 10 times better for $11 .The girl who served us looked disinterested and I had to remind her that we paid for drinks which she forgot to give us. In terms of entertainment yeah we'll be back for the kids sake probably wouldn't eat there again.

Have just had a corporate booking with Zone Botany- was off to a rocky start with some not-so-great service from the Zone Contact Centre, BUT the team at Botany completely turned it around for us. Cairo was lovely and made sure everything went smoothly and Sanford was BEYOND incredible the entire night. Really can't thank you enough - we will be definitely be back for another team function and recommending other managers in our business do the same for their teams.

An amazing place to catch up with friends and family. No doubt Zone Bowling was worth the wait. Not only does it have bowling and arcade games but new attractions such as Laser Tag and Spin Cars. Finally after so long they have a kitchen of its own. I strongly recommend the chocolate donuts. They taste like heaven 😍 my all time favourite. Food is surprisingly very good. Shout out to the chef 👨‍🍳. Amazing and helpful staff throughout the whole venue. Good Customer service!!! Nice new bowling balls 😂 and lastly, the redemption shop is unbelievable. Great place. Got the $25 deal. A game of bowling and $20 at the Time zone, so the bowling was only $5. Lot of games, lot of tickets and a great atmosphere. I would happily go again. Went again last weekend.... and STILL good fun and good value. The fact that I won the bowling had NOTHING to do with enjoying it still ;)

We went for the Unlimited bowling for 20pp on Sunday (From 8pm-10.30pm). The lanes are compact but super smooth and the balls have no chips or bumps. This made bowling a lot more fun. Another awesome feature is the touchscreen menu/console. With options to change names, order drinks/food and even change the style of your game board was impressive. The downsides included the console and compact seating blocking view of the lane you were playing in when seated, and the lack of large sized bowling balls. Only XL and medium were common. If using the special deals, this place is definitely better than any out west. Will be returning.

My husband and I had date night here. It was such a great place to enjoy just being out. We had soo much fun bowling and playing in the arcade. The staff were funny (the island guy?there), the atmosphere was amazing and the vibes were on point. I especially enjoyed the lighting in the place, it gave it more of that extra push that made us love this place even more! I have dropped some stars off just because of how explicit the music videos were when we went there. It's a major distraction and really in front of your face. Apart from that I enjoy going.

Like bowling here with family, workers are pretty nice but half of them ive encountered are quiet and awkward. Most of the shoes for bowling have shoe laces with broken ends making it impossible to use. The time zone has games that malfunction alot and give not that many tickets or none at all and the prizes suck. The decent prizes are worth way too many tickets and are pretty much impossible to get with the amount of tickets you can get from the games that they provide. I still come back to this place even with everything that goes on because minus the issues I'm still able to make great memories.

If it had lemons I would've given 5 star. Also just a note - move the Appleton estate to the middle I totally didn't notice it until after I'd finished.

Nice for bowling. We went on a 2 for 1 day so that was a win. I think they do that quite frequently. Few of the arcade games don't work. Xtreme Entertainment has a range of things to bowling and arcade games. First of all I'm going to talk about bowling, it can have up to 5 players after you throw the ball it knocks down the skittles and a machine then picks the skittles up and cleans the ground then puts the skittles back down and the ball comes out at a pulling machine. Next the arcade games you have a card that you can refill with money, then you can play the games, some of the games give you tickets that you can buy candy with at the shop. The walls are pretty clean and good. The reason it is 4 star is cause there was a big fire there 1 year ago.

Excellent bowling alley too - only downside is how busy the place can get, how understaffed they can be at times, and how quickly you end up spending money there due to the price of the arcade games (bowling is really cheap though!)
