$168 for a powered site for three people for three nights, but everything like showers, water etc all included, so great. little disappointed the dump station was out of order, wasn’t mentioned at time of arriving and paying. Great place to chill out however, was quiet when we were here, good to see recycling station.

Great spot for relaxation - The kids would love the adventure park. You can have stroll at the water front with picturesque lake view or have a coffee at the Podium Cafe.

Pleasant spot for a picnic or place for the kids to play. Good for campers except for major sporting events, which are common over summer. Reasonably priced basic cabins available outside of sporting season.

Lovely place. Lovely place to stay for the holidays with family and friends. Private functions as well. Play ground for the kids, lake to relax maybe have a dip in the water. Cafe on site, as well as camping area pitch a tent , park campervan. Cheap rates. Friendly staff. View is beautiful ❤️

Stunning trail along the dam with a boardwalk over part of the dam. It has information points along the way! Great lookouts are a must to take in the beauty and water mass...checkout the bridge over the dam wall! A good way to get in exercise for the whole family with the Te Awa River Trail as well as a unique playground with structures even for the adults to join in and play, especially the twin slides!

Home of NZ Rowing. Awesome facilities for a day trip to the lake. A bike ride. Water skiing and jet skiing

Beautiful view, the seats are right on top of the little hill from where you can see the entire water front. The play area is interesting. The toilets are clean.

Good space to give the kids a run around during our road trip. Slide can be dangerous for younger ones so supervision required otherwise it was fun

Excellent parkland type space. Lots of wide grassy expanses. A lot of new climbing and activity type of things including swings, long slippery dip etc. Superb views across the lake and only 10 or so minutes from town.
