Friendly staff, beautiful venue, super clean, bathrooms are immaculate. Only down is not many kid friendly options in the drinks fridge: orange juice that isn't very spill friendly or fizzy, easy improvement to make though... Great customer service they accidentally overcharged us but refunded the difference with no fuss. We'll be back

If you make a reservation keep the confirmation email handy!! The bookings are handled manually as of writing. My family had a booking for 2pm that was mistakenly placed in for 12. I had the 2pm confirmation email on my phone which helped clear up the issue, and the staff went out of their way to find us a seat in the otherwise fully booked theater. Very clean theater with comfortable seating and friendly staff. They might want to think about automating their reservation process :)

I think I might have moved to Cambridge just because Tivoli is here. This place just appeals on so many levels. This last time we went the customer service person wasn't the most welcome/inviting person youd hope to meet but perhaps she was just having one of them days.

The Tivoli is a bijou multiplex cinema in Cambridge with good films, friendly service, a good range of beverages and the smartest loos I have seen anywhere for a long time. I was impressed that they gad a machine to genuinely check your vax pass.

This facility should used more Took our Grandies yesterday and was brilliant Saves having to go to Hamilton.. We as adults use it and its great to do a girls night out there.. Great service as well 👏 👍

Trivoli cinema cambridge is a beautiful relaxing cinema.a great place to meet with friends. Clean beautiful 5 star toilets. Beautiful pre or post screening area. and try their carrot cake $5 fresh large triangle just heavenly. The cinemas have been updated with new couches. A wide variety of cinema screenings.. Polite helpful staff. Good parking. Good location just off main highway. A bonus a complimentary film after 12 screenings and gold card concession. Staff charming Well done guys.a pleasure to come. NEW update covid protection screens still in place and cushions are back.good films comming

Awesome movie theatre with super comfortable couches for seating. A bit more expensive than mainstream places but worth the small additional cost as it is convenient, accommodating and has a good movie selection.

Our visits there are always enjoyable ..good seating nice coffee.

The theater was clean and the one staff person friendly. Prepackaged snacks which could be found at the grocery available for excessive prices. Good drinks selection a bit pricey. No cheese boards, bagged nuts. We had to get up and get staff to turn the.lights out once the movie started.

The BEST cinema to see your favourite movies! Sofa seats and you can take in food and drinks. Great staff too. Best kept secret 😁

Tivoli has a lovely intimate ambience. The staff are friendly & obliging. The seating in the movies is comfortable and I like the fact that you can sit and have a coffee in the lounge before the show and finally the toilets are scrupulously clean.

Comfortable, classy and hardly ever seen any children there. Great coffee and cake selection.

Cool little local cinema. Beer and wine, nice snacks and funky decor. The cinemas seats are two person sofas with cushions and big arm rests. About 5 sofas in each row and 6 or 7 rows. So nice cosy small cinemas. Also blankets available to keep your knees and get toasty :)

Lovely theatre, great comfy seats with cushions, beautiful atmosphere, great staff, you can get wine, coffee, snacks. Love coming here. Plus they run a loyalty card, doesn't take me long to get a free movie!

Enjoyed my time. Staff were so nice. Yummy rum and raisin ice cream a fave. Theatre was clean and tidy. Looked so nice with lounging seating. Blankets if you want to keep warm or snuggle. Unisex bathroom stalls were very cool, and nice environment.

Really lovely cinema, very stylish and clean! We expected it to be a typical cinema but were pleasantly surprised. The seating are really comfortable nice couches, the facilities were very clean and the staff was friendly. Would be our go-to cinema if we were locals!

A very cosy and comfortable theatre.

As usual service was good. Only complaint is that people can't seem to sit in the seats indicated on their tickets. You book seats only to find someone else occupying them .most people are glad to move but if the movie has already started it can be very disruptive..

Updated: They now sell popcorn 🍿! Lovely cinema where you can buy yummy ice-creams and ice coffee. Unfortunately they do not sell popcorn. The big couches are very comfortable and blankets are also provided if you are cold when you're watching a film.

Great vibe, super comfy.

The coffee was superb, I loved the couches they have instead of ugly chairs, you can have your coffee and cake while watching the movie because there is plenty of room. The cinema sounds great! And it was not too crowded.

Is The BEST theatre in the Waikato. I love going to Tivoli knowing that the seats are clean unlike the theatres in Hamilton. I dont have an overly sweet tooth, so maybe a Muffin to go with our coffee would be nice....The atmosphere at Tivoli is so pleasant, and the powder room....wow 😀 it gets a huges 👍up. A big THANK YOU to the proprietors 😀😀 for making our movie experience so pleasurable ....Ch🥂re.

Took my two grandsons to Lion King. Was very comfy theatre and could not fault much but why dont they cater a little more for children. Was a Friday night, there were 8 others (over 50 yrs) watching and another 10 (over 50 yrs) waiting when we left for next viewing. Wouldn't take much just kids movie treats, popcorn etc. Then could attract more people. Be so much better to utilise this lovely place for more of this growing community.

Beautiful cinema, really good service. The theatre is so comfortable and entirely loveseat (2seater) couches with throw pillows. Very relaxing. One of the best movie experiences I've had in ages

Great cinema, a real asset to Cambridge. Only thing that lets them down is they don't accept credit cards and therefore don't have a decent booking system.Need to move into 21st century. They miss out on a lot more add on sales as a result. Their current prices should be able to cover the 40c cost per ticket.

Lovely spot in Cambridge with lots of street parking close by. Near the supermarket too. Great range of films if you are looking for something other than a blockbuster

Love this place. Don't normally do 5 stars but these guys went above and beyond. We were the only people there for a late movie and it wasn't the one we thought it would be (our fault) so they played the one we thought we were coming to watch

The best place out to watch a movie. Luxurious surroundings, comfortable armchair like chairs where an espresso coffee or wine and gourmet snack foods can be enjoyed. Away from the hustle and bustle of large shopping centres, popcorn and junk food. A great experience.

Fantastic cinema - grab something to eat or drink beforehand and relax in the foyer, then enjoy your movie with a blanket (provided) on the couches. Theatres are always clean and tidy and staff always friendly.

Perfect relaxing vibe, for enjoying the cinema without having to travel too far. You get the added bonus of double lounger seats, barrister coffee or alcoholic beverages if you prefer. Why waste 30 minutes travelling to Hamilton, when you can travel 5 mins up the road, and have a more comfortable and beautiful experience.

Perfectly suits the charming town Cambridge is. Has an old fashioned elegance to it , which is nothing like the usual "movies in a mall" a lot of us are used to in cities. The best part is you can trade in your usual pop corn and ice cream for some great wine and cheese platter.

Great little theatres with some excellent Art films BUT not always timely with prmotional information regarding upcoming films.

Great theatre with plush seating. Unfortunately the seats didn't quite accommodate my body shape, there was a bulky support under my thighs that became uncomfortable after half an hour or so.

Normally I would have high things to say about this Cinema But one film I went to one person in the theater went and asked when were they going to start the film they said they had forgotten us Then last week I drove from Hamilton as I live here to support the Cinema to see The Ideal Place there were four people in front of me together to be told it was cancelled the look on their face told me it all they were not happy I asked the girl why after its been advertised you canceled it she said had had no rung in bookings I said that's not good enough iv come from Hamilton to specially see it I Was Not impressed by this iv never been to a film theater to find its been canceled and I do two films a week in Cinemas The Cinema needs to take in what damage doing that can do as I tell other people about it which I have and the four in front of me I'm sure would plus who else got turned away Iv owned retail fashion shops in two countries you ALWAYS look after your customers first they keep you in business

Great theater. Love it nice big seats so comfortable. You can even have a wine or coffee while you watch the movies.

I've been to the Tivoli a number of times. Great cinema, love the couch seating arrangement and awesome atmosphere. Fantastic 👍👍

A lovely cinema but film today spoilt by four cellphone calls. Before all concerts we are asked to turn off our phones and I think the Tivoli should start doing this too. People forget then they are fumbling around in the dark trying to even find the phone let alone turn it off.

Wow a very comfortable cinema like no other. Its prices for food and drink is very good and cinemas is very comfortable. This cinema is perfect for all situations.

I think this is the best cinima in the waikato. Fantastic platta and wine. Lovely coffee. Good mix of mainstream and arthouse. Just enjoy the atmosphere. So lucky to be part of the Cambridge community.

Cosy and comfy, the screen is smaller than bigger theatres, must book as it quickly sells out

Pretty pricy, and they don't accept foreign cards so that's really annoying if you don't have cash. They also don't accept credit cards
