Great customer service. It just seemed to lack anything for people who had dietary requirements. Though the staff were also good at being honest when they weren't sure of what we're wanting. It was nice they said it so politely of what they weren't sure about.

Good value cafe. Try the Tradie pie. Bacon & Cheese & Beefburger in pie pastry. Never had one before in NZ anywhere. Works well with an energy drink after a long hot ride or drive. 👍

These guys are always busy and they have a good variety of cafe food and drinks. The place is starting to get a bit worn down though so to get the 5 star it is time to do some renovations and get the place looking fresh again. Service is very good and it is a perfect stop when travelling the highway.

Nice quick lunch stop. Plenty of good food to choose from. Layout weird. You line up as you come in the door but the food is over to the right? Surely things can be switched around to give it a better flow.

If you're passing by Cheviot you must stop in here. They've had it quiet since the Kaikoura earthquake stopped the highway traffic. Their food is good and well priced and they make a good coffee too.

Cute little place we ran into on our way from kaikoura to christchurch. Friendly staff. We just had food from the pre-made case, but it was good. We were also sble to stock up on snacks and water. Good seating inside and out.

The service was great. The food was ok? Pie was way too salty and the pastry was under cooked. I had mince and cheese. I reckon I barely got a teaspoon of cheese. The Yoyo was nice, but not enough passion fruit.
