Loved the Sunday "2 burgers for 1 price" deal on top floor's bar, not sure is it during festive seasons or in long term. Generous amount of the ingredients, my vege jackfruit burger taste real yum. Saw it has now a notes exchange/ticket claimed machine that saved the trouble to queue in counter. Less comfortable that the management did not enforce the face mask policy after visitors have entered and playing gaming machines. Saw many aren't wearing after they started playing.

Professional friendly staff on Entrance duty, both very helpful. Covid 19 level rules being followed. Interesting that you no longer get complimentary soft drinks at the gaming machines. I was directed to a dispensing machine but chose instead to pay the $4.50 for my drink.

Really only visited the Casino for dinner and drinks. Whilst we were quickly greeted and shown to a table the actual ordering of food and drinks took an eternity. They weren't busy so I'd hate to think what it's like during peak times.

I found this place really needs a facelift. It's looking tired. The staff where good friendly. I got a cocktail with no decorations or even an effort on presentation. I won't be buying another one. Other places close buy are same price with much better presentation etc. The staff got the stars not the place

This is a nice tidy Casino, had a more comfortable and classy feel than many of the bigger casinos I have been to. The staff were professional and pleasant. Quite a positive experience, despite having no luck on the tables. Definitely would go there again (hopefully with a bit more luck in my pocket).

First time experience and wow, the premises is stunning. So much to do there from restaurant to playing. A great place to catch up with friends and families for eating and having some fun!

This is a great place and an excellent Casino. There is a superb restaurant serving up great meals. The bar has friendly, approachable and most helpful staff. There is a superb range of machines and tables to suit everyones' interests. Floor staff are available all the time if you have a question. There is unbeatable action seven days a week with live music. This is a premier entertainment destination well worth visiting. Car parking is very good as there is a large car park on Peterborough street across the road from the Casino. A very short walk to the main entrance.

A Tiny Casino compared to Auckland or las Vagus standards but still has a great casino feel to it. The tables are busy and lots happening. Have a few floors and we were lucky enough to be able to play in the private place upstairs for high rollers. Also, have played poker and had a blast. There is always something happening. Get your players card. I am not a gambler but every now and then would visit for kicks. If you are visiting Christchurch you must visit this place. The food is great and the drinks are reasonably priced. Fun experience especially if you win 🏆 ✅👋

Came here for all you can eat breakfast. One of the nicest places in christchurch you can go to. No screaming kids either as the casino is R20. Food is amazing, so many options and the place is awesome clean and tidy with competitions all the time and a variety of games to play

Went to Monza bar didn'tknow that it was quiz night so decided to eat out of the bar area, our food took ages to come. I had the lamb burger it was tasty but the bun was cold, but inside was warm enough to eat straight away. The fries were shoestring a bit over cooked. For $22.50 I dont think it's good value, its over priced for the meal, I had better at other restaurants. My husband had a different burger same for him tasty but over priced.

My experience was i won 5,700.00 took ticket up to counter this Indian lady , well she looked like that ok..Anyway she asked me if I was money laundry ,I go what! Then she said where you get your money , I said out off atm machine then she said I might not give you your win if you are money laundry I wS so confused at what she was saying, then she said you can have it if you join the casino here , I said I am joined at auckland. For God sake... I had to join there pay 20.00 for the card then she gave me my money short of 20.00 and my daughter was with me when it happened. Any opinions on my experience there?

Dress code is casual which i like. Plenty of slot machines to play. The security do a good job. The guy that was behind the cashier counter on Momday 4 january afternoon he was unpleasent and rude and needs to learn how to talk to people from all walks of life or find another job. As i was polite to him yet he treated me like i was nothing...... Otherwise i enjoyed my day. Also if your playing the slots you can get free non alcohol drinks like raspberry & coke when you press the button on th slot machine..... Will be going more often.

Surprisingly nice Casino with multiple bars and an assortment of food. There is a free games area with video game consoles for you to have a break and plenty of places to sit and have a drink or feed. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxed, it didn't feel like you have to jump straight into gambling. Two levels of machines, tables on the ground floor, free baggage check and friendly staff.

5 stars if you bring back a more stringent dress code. Sneakers, caps, puffer jackets and sports clothing have NO place here. This is supposed to be a reputable place to gamble, drink and eat. Better than a common pub. You've lowered the standard and it's disappointing.

From a poker players perspective: small room with three 1/2 tables going on Saturday evening around 9pm. Played for a few hours and came out with 4.5 buy ins. Level of play was ridiculously low, tables full of fish floating multiple streets and bluffing ace high hands with lines that don't make any sense. Regs were mostly bad as well, and almost no phone nits to be found! If you know what you are doing it's a gold mine if it's like this every night.

My work had our xmas lunch in the grand cafe on 30 Nov 2018. The buffet was topped up before the rest of the team arrived, so food was super fresh. The friendly staff looked after us really well. I haven't been here in a long time after a disastrous dinner which my hospo friends all agreed was terrible but after this lunch, I might start going again.

Nice venue with helpful staff. Its a great place to go for night out. Start with dinner either in the restraunt or up at the monza sports bar. Then make your way down to tables where the staff are extremely helpful even if you had little to no knowledge of how to gamble at a casino. I thoroughly enjoyed my night and left with knowledge of how to approach and get myself on the tables.

Visited as a couple during Covid-19 Alert Level 2. Responsible sign-in procedure. Non member sign-in /government scan option, too. Sanitising available everywhere. Drinks service and payment to your machine or table. Every second machine unavailable for social distancing. On the payout ratio, my experience was a questionable percentage return to the player on poker machines. Note to Casino management... get rid of the BNZ ATMs. They disallow a second withdrawal no matter how much it is, what account it is and regardless of what your personal account daily spend limit is. Very frustrating!

The food was ok but certainly nothing special. Had a few drinks here too pretty standard prices for town and not a great selection. Lots of Silverbacks on the slot machines

I have become increasingly concerned and put out at the officiousness, and off handedness of some Casino staff, yet their Restaurant staff appear very friendly and helpful. That heavy woman in black, Eve, at the right hand end of Cashers Desk 10pm 12 June 19 really should NOT be dealing direct with the Public:... Some foreign staff servicing pokies (not all) are quite blunt, and again they should not be in a position where they have this contact with patrons. Myself and friend have twice left the Casino earlier than planned because of officiousness and bluntness to the point of rudeness of some Staff.

Food is just alright, not amazing, but not horrible either. Smoker's lounge on the second floor. Discount parking if you're a Casino Players Club Member. The atmosphere seems a bit dull for youngsters or tourists, so I don't recommend coming here if you only have a few days to explore around Christchurch.

It's a casino the house always wins. I tried the bar food menu, over priced for what you get. I didn't know you could stuff up a chicken burger but I was wrong it can be done. Hard buns, chicken was already killed but the killed it again by turning it black, dry. Fries over cooked and dry. Good luck if you order anything from there.

A friend of mine and myself went there twice cocktails were delicious and the fresh fruit in them was just a n8ce touch they looked like art work lol but as for the bar service it was 1 star the staff are rude they told us after onky 4 drinks and $150 later we had enough what a joke so we went else where the stff also clamed the first time we went (which was only 3 days before as 8 was cisiting from oz and onky there for 6 days) as the rest was spent on the south island)that bar closes at 3am but last drinks at 235am what!!
