We would highly recommend this company if you need to move! Particularly from the North Island to the South Island. They made the process so stress-free, with great communication, timely arrival, safe loading and unloading of our contents - and fast delivery. We chose to go by rail vs ship as it was faster and more reliable. And the container arrived at our new address exactly when first predicted. The guys helping unload were awesome and very careful and friendly. If you need to relocate - trust in this team!

Container Relocations had by far the best service and prices of all the company’s I called. Moving from the North Island to the South Island is a big job and if your wanting an easy stress free shift these are your guys. Dani from customer services was so helpful and gave me all the info I needed first time round. I didn’t have to wait weeks for someone to come to come look at my personal items, they organise the container based on the size I request based on house size. Great pricing that was much cheaper than competitors. They boys packed and unpacked our personal items so well and everything was placed in the container nicely. Lisa was there along the way to make sure we were on track and didn’t forget anything and also follow up on the other side. Overall was a great experience and will definitely recommend them to any friends, family and colleagues who may be moving in the future!

I was moving house interisland and not having moved in a very long time l was imagining problems and was quite daunted at the prospect. However Dani at Container Relocations office very patiently talked me through the process, answered all my questions and helped me make decisions. Loading day came and 2 friendly, gentle giants came and got everything packed carefully in the container with great good humour and efficiency. Fabulous. Cost efficient moving service that takes the double handling out of things. We had two house loads to move, one which needed storage, one that did not. Both uploads went smoothly, one house lot needed packing too, and this was done quickly and efficiently and no breakages at either end! Motorscooter travelled well as did the ride on mower. We needed move out of our old house and store our whole house lot for five weeks then move into our new house. We chose Container Relocations because they were a one-stop shop for moving and storage. From the beginning when we contacted them, they were extremely responsive and professional they made us feel like everything was under control and that we were in good hands. When the packing and loading day came, JJ and his team arrived and packed up our entire house extremely well and made sure everything was extremely well protected, definitely worth getting the packing service. Our entire house was effiently put into a container and locked with our own padlock and later seen in Napier 2 weeks later. Rudolph and his team arrived on time to unload and were extremely friendly and interacted so well with my 6 year old son, they made him feel part of the move and kept involving him and making him feel very special. All our goods were unloaded into the appropriate rooms within a few hours and then the unpacking started. After the dust settled and a massive move we have only one broken glass which i think is a massive success, all our possessions look like they did before the move. Container Relocations made my life so much easier with our move to Auckland recently! They were very efficient and professional. Right from the quote request I felt very well looked after and was more than happy to have them relocate my home. On relocation day the container arrived on time and the packers/movers came in got the job done within 2 hours. They were very careful with every item inside the house and made sure to inform me whereabouts in the container were fragile items so that they could be looked after upon unloading. The unload was also very efficient and done within 2 hours whilst also taking care with each item. Right in the middle of L4/L3 Covid restrictions the move via Container on Rail and Sea from Auckland to Dunedin/Mosgiel was a great option for us and was half the price of any truck removal company we tried. They were friendly, responsive, honest, helpful and most importantly very professional and careful with our stuff. They took real care when packing the container and got everything in (including some large extras) with some superb packing techniques and lots and lots of safety blankets! The container arrived and was unloaded very carefully and quickly within a couple of hours and only a couple of days after leaving Auckland. Some great follow up and checks afterwards were really nice touches to check on any issues or breakages (there weren't any!). All in all a great service that I would definitely use again and recommend to anyone. Thank you to all involved.

Nick, Dani, and the team at Container Relocations did an amazing job moving us from Nelson to Auckland! They provide a very professional and friendly service, and my wife and I were very impressed. As someone new to container moves I had lots of questions about various aspects of the move, and the team were always quick to respond by email, text, or phone. The process was very transparent and easy to understand. The price was considerably cheaper than the other options available, but there were no corners cut in the service they provided. I estimate that the move cost about half of what it would have done with many of their competitors. While they did have insurance available at a good price, we found that our regular AMI house contents insurance extended to the move as well so we didn’t need any extra. The container was clean and tidy, with an enormous stack of blankets to wrap up our goods. The size of the container is deceptively large – it seems small when empty but we managed to get pretty much all of our three bedroom house into it, including fridge, washing machine, bicycles, beds, etc. The container was dropped off professionally right in front of our house and carefully picked up. We have a lot of precious family antiques and valuables, some very fragile items that have been with us a long time. Nothing what broken in the move; they were very careful at every stage. The whole process took a very short time and we were able to track the shipment throughout its journey north. We chose the rail move which was only slightly more expensive than by sea but was much faster. This is the preferred option for sure. The container was picked up on a Thursday, was in Auckland by Friday, and we moved in on a Tuesday morning. The two movers who unloaded our container in Auckland were efficient and friendly. They unloaded our possessions carefully and quickly and put everything in the house where it was supposed to go. I highly recommend container relocations for anyone contemplating a house move!

Communication was really good, and they committed to everything they promised. I found them good value for money when compared to other similar vendors. Unfortunately a few things were broken that wasn't pointed out to this, but also expect there to be some damage fortunately wasn't anything too valuable.

Loved dealing with Container Relocations, first felt the move from south to north was such an ordeal and did up to 5 quotes from various companies. We found CR not only by far the best price but the communication from the office team through to the insurance and drive team very good. No damage was sustained during transit and storage of our goods. As we had time we opted to pack and unpack our stuff but as we had a lot of stuff (2 containers) did make sure we had plenty of hands on board to help with the moving of box's and furniture to the CR team who did a superb job of loading into the containers at the pick up end and unload at the other end. Cost for storage was competitive as well. I would definitely use CR again and would and have already recommended them to others!

We were extremely happy with our move from Napier to Alexandra. Lisa explained the whole package to us and we were contacted at every stage. The truck arrived on time.We had packed our own stuff so the local guys (Anywhere Movers) chosen to pack the container only took an hour to load up the truck. In Alexandra, Countrywide Relocations delivered the container at the time they stated only taking 30 minutes to unload! Every item was intact and placed where we wanted it. I can't recommend Container Relocations enough to help with your move! I was leaving Auckland to relocate to Christchurch and the team were fantastic. From the time I picked them I was informed and my preferred load/delivery times were worked into my schedule. I didn't use the packing service because I had plenty of time prior to moving. The container stayed in storage longer than I'd planned from October - April, and when my purchase of my new home went through, I arranged delivery. Everything arrived in the same condition it went into the container originally nothing was damp or broken. The delivery team went the extra mile, putting things into the appropriate rooms, and even the garden shed...

Amazing bunch of guys very organised at both ends - we shifted from Bay of Plenty to Central Hawkes Bay with our house load of goods stored for 5 months in between. They picked up stored and then delivered on request with no hiccups- thank you very much for the wonderful service.

We sought four quotes in July 2020 to shift our 3 bedroom household furniture from Auckland to Wanaka. After conducting a review of ratings, and from the initial conversation with Danni at Container Relocations Ltd (CRL), we decided to select their quote. Right from the start of this process we found CRL to be very flexible and accommodating with our ever changing dates and requirements. We looked at the option of purchasing a 20' HiCube container so that we could store our furniture while we temporarily rented a fully furnished home in Wanaka. CRL were able to offer very good condition containers at a competitive price. In the end we didn't select this option, but we found CRL to be most helpful and obliging whilst we juggled our options. With several days to go we received a call from the driver with an updated ETA for his arrival and he arrived right on time. We packed everything ourselves (apart from larger pieces) and stacked boxes together in one room, so the pack-up of the container went very quickly and smoothly. A nice touch ensuring piece of mind is that the container was locked with our own padlock, and that stays locked and secure until it reaches its destination. This means that time consuming inventory lists are superfluous and this is also a cost saving measure. Several days prior to delivery in Wanaka we received a call from the driver with his ETA. He arrived right on time as well and we were very pleased to see the initial packing and blanket wrapping of our pieces resulted in all the furniture arriving undamaged. Shifting can be a stressful process, and after many shifts conducted over the years' we found that CRL take all the hassle from this process with their excellent communication, flexibility and accommodating approach. We found Danni and the team at CRL very friendly and affable with their modus operandi, and all this at a very competitive price. Based on our positive experience, we recommend CRL very highly and would employ their services again for our future shifting needs.

Hi Rachel So pleased we found CRL online to help our shift from Christchurch to Opotiki. Rachel was extremely helpful, answering all our questions patiently and promptly.
