Highly recommend this company as I purchased a kid atv for my 5 year old , the bike is totally suitable for him and he can still ride it for a couple more years as it is a good size . It also has a solid build and very easy to assemble . The company have excellent customer service as they respond quickly to any questions and made my buy easy and simple. Every time I've gone into Half Price Imports the staff are friendly - a great bunch. They have some gorgeous industrial furniture. Bought a spa cover over a year ago off them and it's been great - best price in town. After exploring their great website, I decided to pop down the road to see all the great products for myself, thinking it was just a big gimmick with cheap stuff, I was after a trailor and they have a fantastic range of heavy duty trailors available. I'm soon to be back to get it sorted. Very friendly staff and great product knowledge and support. I'd always seen their spa pool on the back of the ute but never went and saw them till now. When we first moved to New Zealand over 2 years ago, the team at Half Price Imports were a pleasure to deal with and helped arrange the purchase of our trailer, while we were still in Australia so we could pick it up on our way through Christchurch. The trailer has been fantastic. When I lost a small part, they replaced it free of charge. My neighbor who is not easy to please, was so impressed with my trailer, he decided to buy one too so we drove from Southland to pick it up and bring it home. Again, great service. I purchased a mini-digger from Nic and HPI and again, his service and price and the quality of the digger was brilliant. He went out of his way to try and source an attachment for a very fair price. I can't recommend them highly enough. We have now just purchased a mattress from them and again, the service and price have been great.

We bought a spa from Half Price Imports just over a year ago and it was the BEST PRICED spa we found in all of Canterbury. Better style, pump etc for the price, compared to the ones that are 2-3 thousand dollars more at the branded spa places around New Zealand. Their staff are really friendly and the service was fantastic. They even supply the replacement headrests and water filters if you need them too. The products they have for purchase are really awesome and range from both indoor to outdoor use. They basically have something for everyone. I wouldn't hesitate getting another spa from them if I moved house.

Me and my partner were looking for a spa pool for a while and found half price imports on Facebook. It's great that he's open on the Saturday, so we drove to Christchurch right away without having to take time off work, what happens a pot because most spa pool companies are open Monday to Friday. The owner was very friendly..took his time to explain all the details of the pool with us. He gave his contact number we could call if we still had more questions and he give us a link of the spa pool with set up videos etc. Since we never had a spa before it was so great that we got such support! Half a year later and I'm still using it every day. I can totally recommend this place. We are so happy with the pool. But on our way out of the shop my partner saw way more beauties that he wanted to buy (mini 4 wheeler for his niece only 4 months old now! trailer for behind the car for the farm etc). But that will be future purchases!

i have no idea what happened to the trailer we brought yesterday towed it 200kms home and all i did was keep looking in the rear vision for it. it towed so smoothly no swaying bumping rattling it was like a hovercraft. it travelled so smoothly. very satisfied with purchase would highly recommend these trailers

I honestly carnt say enough about Half price imports. For me the service has got to be as good as the product. We have now bought several pieces of beautiful furniture from them and love it to bits. The guys are so friendly and really just wanting you to be a happy customer . The last cabinet that we bought , we decided after a couple days that we needed a different cabinet with lower measurements to fit the required space, they were amazing, I went into there shop , paid the difference and they were more than happy to do the swap over and didn’t even charge me another delivery fee, which of course they could of, was my muck up not there’s .The guys work late into the night to deliver at your required time, they are very professional and have all the equipment to do so, so if you are on your own at home it doesn’t matter, Sam is very strong 💪 lastly I would like to add that shops like Java have always been my favourite, but well out of reach because so expensive. Half price imports have the very same unique exciting pieces and truly affordable, I guess because they don’t have the big flash shop and overheads, I’m really not sure 🤔 but god we love it. I bought a spa pool off half price imports, and it has been fantastic. I've modified it slightly to be a plug in and in the process I found that spare parts and components are fully supported. I modified it further to be lpg heated as well as electric plug in, and again was super simple to tweak. I've had the spa for 3 years now and still looks like the day I bought it. We bought a king single bed with roller underneath, mattresses, and a double slat bed with headboard for the kids 2 years ago from half price imports. Great price, easy to assemble, but more importantly still in perfect condition 2 years later. The mattresses are more comfy than our others in the house. Definitely recommend

I am from out of town aprox 2.15 hours away. I purchased a trailer from this company and drove up there the spent 20mins being around the trailer as we hooked it my car and I was on the road. trailer was assemabled and registered and warranted when I arrived.

The cost is definitely in their name - Half price! I purchased mirrored furniture for my house which was triple the price elsewhere but while I was there I was surprised by the variety and different styles!

If you're expecting a fabulous show room filled with display furniture, you'll be disappointed. Their business is predominantly online with a warehouse used to store their products. No doubt this helps keep their costs down which are passed on to us as consumers. That said, there a some items on display. We purchased a bed directly from their warehouse after seeing them on TradeMe. The bed sits a bit lower than we expected and certainly isn't made for jumping on (the wood isn't as thick as our other bed). The quality of the finished product isn't something I'll write home about but, overall, definitely fits the purpose for which we bought it: a spare bed in our spare room. We're a happy customer.
