Currently this is a New Zealand MIQ hotel. Food was very good. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Will be nice to stay here once the MIQ restrictions have been lifted. Walking distance to the airport.

MIQ quarantine facility. Nice hotel. Covid safety protocols being followed to keep everyone apart. Food is good. Beds comfortable with nice linen. TV is ok with new movies.

Blown away by the thoughtfulness and care of the staff. Feeling very lucky to have been placed here in quarantine.

I'm nearly at the end of my 14 day managed isolation at the Novotel Christchurch Airport. My expectations for the meals have been greatly exceeded, I am a vegetarian and there has been such a variety of meals which have all been delicious. The staff have all been so lovely and accomodating. I feel very lucky to be staying in a place where we have had the space to go outside and get some sunshine. My room itself was also super clean, modern and spacious. Everyone working here deserves to give themselves a huge pat on the back for all their amazing work!!

Did my quarantine in this hotel, nice hotel rooms were clean and tidy . Staff was very helpfull. Once this pandemic is over definitely I will go and stay in this hotel for a holiday. And I Thank the Manager and the Staff for sending me a cake on my birthday while I was quarantine in this hotel. That was a real surprise.. Thank you Team great job.

Oh my gosh is this an aiport hotel? If so it has broken the mould. The hotel decor has elements of Art Deco; paying tribute to a luxe era. My party and I were upgraded to the suites and were served welcome drinks on arrival. If you have the $$ to upgrade this is well worth it, from the lounge to the twin sinks to the bathtubs overlooking the runway, these rooms are gorgeous. Hard to tear ourselves away from our rooms, we headed up to the food exchange for dinner. With view of the runway and the mountains, it was spectacular to watch the sunset. Every dish for dinner was a delight from the oysters, salmon to the market grouper; this is fine casual dining at it's best. The staff are all so friendly and excited to be part of this new project and I can see why. We look forward to holding our event there in February and to sneaking back any chance we get!

I'm reviewing your hotel five stars based on one of your customer service representatives. you have a young man working for you if I'm remembering correctly I believe his name was Josh. After checking in to the hotel Josh could not have been more helpful taking me and my bags to my room engaging in real genuine and interesting conversation he made me feel welcome on a personal level rather than making me feel welcome like it was just his job. Once we got to the room he could not have been more helpful explaining how things worked and wishing me an amazing stay. Later on that evening I called the guest services we're luckily enough I spoke to Josh again and he could not have been more helpful answering my enquiry. all of your staff that I've spoken to or encountered have been lovely however I wanted to take this opportunity to give praise to an amazing young man who takes his job clearly on a personal level and not just as a job. You should be proud that you have such an amazing staff at your hotel especially this young rising superstar. I believe he is a long and fulfilling career head. What a face for your hotel.

COVID Quarantine is serious business. The staff is great, the rooms are huge and the meals are interesting. You can hire exercise equipment for your stay and have groceries delivered.

This hotel is an aviation enthusiast’s dream with views directly over the gate apron and runway. Excellent noise-proofing means aircraft are only seen and not heard! Modern design and decor gives the accommodation a quality feeling. Clever use of space makes the room feel bigger than its relatively small floor plan. A solid 4-star hotel immediately outside the terminal (land side) if you are transiting. Parking is quite expensive at $40/day (multiple entry, valet) but it is at the airport so most people are likely to be hiring or returning a car and won’t need to worry about this. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Well finished and well appointed. Despite the construction delays it is a wonderful looking place. Food at the restaurant was a bit limited but they have just opened so we will give them the benefit of the doubt that the menu will develop over time. Amazing view of the airport and plains/alps/peninsular- worth a visit just for that!

Staff attentive and friendly. Rooms immaculately presented and well thought out. The decor is on point and functional. The view from the room was tremendous and the sound control incredible. Level 6 accommodates the conference rooms and Food Exchange restaurant. Fantastic views all around 👍👏🏻

We stayed here the night before we had an early morning flight, so were only there about 8 hours. Friendly helpful staff. A couple of things I did find strange though in the family rooms we rented , they were side by side and had an internal door between them , 2 doors actually , but there was no way to close the doors, as they were with a key . When one of the kids accidentally closed they door we had to ring reception and get them to bring up a key from the maintenance room to reopen the internal doors. The other strange thing was in one of the rooms there was a gap between the bedroom and toilet/bathroom that couldnt be closed , so you could see peoples feet and hear everything that was going on in the bathroom if you were in the bedroom. Maybe there was a way to shut that but none of us could see it, wierd, was room 410 and 411. Anyway , overall a nice hotel, with friendly helpful staff and very convenient.

Neautiful crisp and clean as one would expect from a new 2week old building. Dinning was a mixed experience with the entree building up to an anticliamactic main that was flavourless, then we were offered a complimemtary dessert and which we were charged for it? Not a great start to our holiday.

the hotel is close to the airport, and it is good for who take the early flight, otherwise, it is not worth to stay in this hotel. Room is not big enough for family, and the price is a bit too high. we stayed there for 2 nights and they did not change the towel and drinking water......

Nice hotel with good ambiance. Just a few stone's throw away from the airport arrival past the Long Stay Parking sign. Thanks to Novotel Staff for bunking me up to Executive Suite. Really appreciate the nice gesture and will continue to be a loyal member of Accor. Another special thanks to the waitresses at the Level 6 Restaurant for your recommendations. Forgotten your name but I will surely update here if I can recall back and thank you Toni for waiting on me and my colleagues.

First I want to say the staff is fine, however too many other things are not quite right. Most importantly, the WiFi is unusable. Have work to do? It won’t be getting done here. Next, the design of the room isn’t great. There’s no counter space. The facial tissues are tucked away in a drawer you wouldn’t expect. Only one large bath towel (in a two bed room) in the bathroom. (The other is in the cabinet with the iron - never seen that before!) Finally, the two outlets by the bed aren’t really usable as they sit too close to the shelf. The room’s alarm clock plug is half-way shoved in because the brick can’t fit. Your MacBook charger doesn’t stand a chance. I will say that the other review about parking is incorrect now as construction is finished. Very easy parking in the long term lot and 1 min walk to the hotel. I also just realized I never received the final bill I was told would be emailed to me when I checked out.

Staying at the hotel was convenient. Room very nice. Breakfast was tasty but our meal last night was really great. Loved the lamb and my husband's dessert was to die for.

Service was excellent. It was my daughters birthday and they looked after her excellently without being asked to. She loved the ability to watch planes from the room and enjoyed the restaurant views and food.

Restaurant service was exceptional, with very special service from our waiter, Shivam. He was very professional and such a delight. Parking was a problem, with no parking available for guest visitors. Had to park in airport car park at $10 per hour. Not cool. Lovely hotel with curious staff.

An awesome place to stay. So handy 100 meters to the departure lounge. Lovely comfy bed impeccably clean and lovely food at the gourmet bar.It sure beats driving to Christchurch at 2am 😀
