great selection of whiteware at this store and very friendly staff who go the extra mile to satisfy their customers needs. The delivery guy Craig is a great asset to this place and offers great service when he installs appliances.

Good service. This second hand appliance store is no frills. Clean and tidy and all the whiteware was well presented. The lady we dealt with was helpful and efficient. They delivered the washing machine, fitted it and took the old one away at no extra charge which was great.

We bought a large fridge freezer avd a washing machine. Both refurbished and at a great price including a 6 month warranty. Cheaper (significantly) and better for the environment than new. Delivery was easy and the guys who delivered them installed it and gave us advice on how to work them. Would recommend and will be returning for a dryer!

Our fridge died a day before we were due to leave on vacation and we dropped into cares on the off chance we'd find a replacement that could be delivered at short notice. I have to say the service was excellent and that cares really came through for us, the new Samsung fridge we bought was delivered the same day at EXACTLY the time we agreed on. Brilliant all round.

I called contacted Matt, who I think is the owner, and the same day he was able to allow for my appliance to be delivered and assessed. Contact was prompt (even though I was difficult to contact!), cost effective and efficient. Highly recommend. Five stars.

Ferrymead location - Good quality secondhand or refurbished appliances at fair prices. Slightly more expensive than buying off TradeMe or online buy & sell pages, but much cheaper (and better for the environment) than buying new. Appliances come cleaned, tested, with limited warranty, and delivered on time. Staff are friendly and helpful. We are very happy with our new/old fridge. Thank you guys :)

The staff are so friendly and very helpful! Amazing prices between $800 & $400 not spend arm and a leg!!! I purchased awesome stainless steel fridge. They gave me a good deal! So worth going there and I highly recommended it!! 😁

Used for a repair of Electrolux washing machine gasket. Really helpful, got a couple of options for the part, explained process and fixed within the agreed timeframe. Way better than Saxson's service, definitely give these guys a try.

My fridge wouldn't fit in the kitchen of my new place. My friend told me to sell it and buy a new smaller one on TradeMe. That may have cost me a bit less but thinking about the hassle of buying and selling online - not being sure of the quality of a new purchase and having to organise a trailer to pick up, and people to help lift and carry just did my head in. So, I went to Cares to look at a smaller fridge - they had quite a range of suitable models - and selected the one I liked. They then offered me a trade in price for my fridge based on the information and photographs I provided. The new fridge had a 6-month warrantee and I was relieved that someone would come and deliver and pick up my old fridge. Paul was friendly and helpful, and it was my perfect solution! But it gets better. We arranged for the fridges to be picked up and delivered and that I would come home to let them in. Unfortunately, I had a medical incident that resulted in a trip to hospital at the time it was to be delivered. I spoke to Craig – “the deliverer” and explained the situation. He was really supportive, and we arranged for him to use my hidden spare key, deliver the fridge, shift all my food and frozens from the old fridge into the new, install it in the hole in the kitchen (where it fit!) and lock up and go. When I arrived home from hospital – there was my new fridge with the food neatly stacked inside, the place safely locked up and an information sheet left on how to care for the fridge. I can’t thank the Cares team enough for their kindness and service that went above and beyond. They were just fabulous!

I have got a good deal for a stove and a washing machine. Some issue to get it delivered on time the first time. After 5 months both appliances failed but Cares came and fixed it.

Amazing thank you Cares Appliances !!! I brought appliances for an investment property, amazing customer service, great price and a 6 month warranty – they can service the appliances they sell. Why buy new?
