D.My car door key just gave up and did not operate in locked position. I contacted 24/7 Christchurch locksmith as they said $35 to open the car door. The guy came in and opened the car door and charged $130 ??? YES. Stay away from them.
Then my car Mechanic Lindsey suggested getting in touch with RossGalt.
They not only gave me new key, returned the old one for $145 but also fixed my car remote for free. There you go, one company rips the customer by showing some and LOOTING and this guy Ross Galt has some good souls like Denial (I guess) who work and live customer service.

B.I had no idea that Ross Galt Locksmiths were the go to, for replacing batteries in my keyless remote for my Mazda. Not only did they fit it for me, but it was done in a matter of minutes, with friendly service to boot. It's hard to find good service these days. Highly recommend these guys A+++
K.Popped up an advert on social media for a deal on electronic locks. Which is what we were looking for at the time funny enough. Called up and they wanted to come around same day! But that didnt suit. Next morning they arrived fitted 2 electronic locks and sorted out some other issues I had. Very happy with product and service. Would happily commend.
B.I visited the Sydenham shop to get ignition keys made for a Fiat Campervan unfortunately the right keys were out of stock but I got advice on fitting a lock at the house. The next morning a cheerful Brendan arrived showed me a different house lock which he thought was more appropriate and I agreed to have that one fitted. I groaned that I hadn’t been able to get the Campervan ignition keys made yesterday and to my surprise in the back of his van he found the right keys and after what looked like a complicated procedure produced two ignition keys saving me a trip back into town. Brendan make sure I knew how to work the numbered lock and left no mess. A positive start to my day.

He even adjusted the door closer so the door no longer slams, something the original door installer said couldn't be done!! Definitely recommend them and will use them again should the need arise.

S.Great. Needed a key for a classic motorcycle, motorbike shop could not help. Several other locksmiths unable to supply one that looked correct. Mall kiosks no good. Ross Galt had one in stock, cut in it a few minutes. Service with a smile and very professional.
R.Great place to do business with .I had an old lock barrel out of a 1956 f j holden which was completely rusty ..I thought I would have had to throw it away ...only thing is you cant buy them anymore . So the lock Smith said leave it with me and I will see if I can fix it for you .... but you must realise it will be touch and go ..or 50 50 chance it will work.. I said just give it a go and see what you can do .....got a phone call the next day from the lock Smith...I was fearing the worst..but to my astonishment lock Smith said we got it all going for you...I was ecstatic...I said out loudly you bloody beauty ..so in a nutshell if you want anything done re locks etc Ross gault locksmiths are the firm to get ...cheers all
A.Had trouble with my ignition as my car was broken into. The team at Ross Galt at Kingsley Street are top notch. Phenomenal service, they go above and beyond and excellent friendly staff. I would definitely recommend these guys and go to them again.

A.Very impressed with the service of Ross Galt. We had purchased a Risco Agility 3 alarm a few years ago from another company who proceeded to wash their hands of us after the sale. Our keypad stopped working so I googled Risco alarms and Ross Galt came up, they advised the alarms are supposed to be serviced each year which we were never told. A service tech out the next day after my phone call to them and sorted our issue quickly. Everyone I dealt with at Ross Galt were very friendly and informative. I would not hesitate to use them in future for servicing and/or purchasing another alarm system.

S.I locked my keys in my bmw, Ross Galt gave me the best quote when I rang around & sent Daniell out to do the job. Daniell is a man who has done his homework, he is very knowledgeable & informative & was in in about 10mins & very discreetly too I might add. I was pleasantly surprised & impressed. I have no hesitation in recommending Daniell to get your keys out of your locked euro car.

The backstory being I'd already been into mitre10 who didn't even have a blank of my key, and Mr. Minit who I had to go back to 3 times and they still couldn't get it right. I was incredibly impressed by the service, the range and the knowledge here. And the keys I got cut worked first time! I won't ever go anywhere else now to get my keys cut.
h.I would say Best in the Town. I almost went to all locksmiths for my car door lock to be fixed but didnt find satisfaction anywhere. Surprised by that those who having 5 star rating on Internet just raised their hands as they said it's very complicated to do work on Honda and if they do that they will charge abt 250 bucks. Dan from Ross Galt is incredible. Fix the problem with good price... Highly recommended. .. thanx
