Kai gave my partner and I the best service I could have hoped. He is very passionate about what he does as the ultimate handy-man, whilst managing his business by himself even amongst the times of Covid-19. For us, it was a case of a broken Mitsubishi key fob that got sat on and Kai took great care in producing a brand new shell and key at a generous price. It is evident that he wants only the best outcomes for his customers and goes the extra mile to tend to details that larger companies wouldn’t have the time or care to do. Certainly a very kind humble guy, whose small business we were very happy to support.

My mum needed her key fob replaced for her car. Her car wouldn't start at all. Kai came out of his way after work to make sure she was taken care of. I really appreciate it especially after other places tried to take advantage of an elderly lady and charged her an arm an a leg! He was really good at explaining what needed to be done and how he was going to do it, making it all stress free, Thanks Kai!

Kai is amazing! I have been using him for years for my shoes, car remotes, and other repairs to things like bags etc...this time it was for sizing an expensive watch for my son and he did a great job at a great price. Cannot recommend enough!! Give Kai a try and you won't regret it 😀

Mr fixer is a incredible knowledgeable key maker. We need a duplicate car key that even involved him sourcing the auto key from overseas and taking out the 2 computers in our modern car to make the auto key. Everything restored to original status. Our Car sales advised he was the only person in CHCH able yo make a duplicate auto key. At all times the service was above expected service. We highly recommend his services. And very trustworthy.

Kai is awesome! On the spot he fixed three locks and cut two keys for my van. Really quick and such a friendly guy. Definitely not your average cranky locksmith, would recommend to anyone when it comes to help with keys! Thanks again!

Kai from the fixer recently helped us source a replacement key / wireless entry remote for our late Model Prius. We are extremely happy with the service received. Kai was quick to provide a quote, responsive to communication, flexible in sorting an appointment and also offered a home visit service if needed. The actual key cutting / programming was done quickly and the prices were much lower than we were fearing. Easy to recommend and definitely planning on being a return customer in the future.

I was very impressed by Kai’s service considering the bad service I had elsewhere. He fixed my Key Fob, reprogrammed it with my car and cut me a new key that actually worked, all in good time and for a good price! I went there as it was close to home but also because of the other 5-star reviews. Kai deserves another 5 stars from myself.

Kai is exceptional, he is an absolute pleasure to deal with and has a great sense of humour. He helped me with a couple of keys I was having issues with. Kai is a gem. I came across him by chance looking for a simple shoe repair. Chatting with him after it was done, he offered to try a complicated remote key recoding for which the dealer/agent had quoted a small fortune and a long delay sourcing a key from Italy. It took him hours but his persistence and determination to figure it out was impressive and job done for less than 1/2 $$! He has a great can do attitude. Highly recommended.

I got a Audi and lost my key, get qoute from Audi dealership for One remote key for $800, doing here for $450 and quickly job done.

Found this guy on Google, Called him, told him my issues, said to come straight In, Was fixed with 15mins @ a good price and a cold beer aswell. Hell of a nice guy. Everyone needs to use this key for key cutting.
