Had Family Fun Day for Grandson whom was 10. Lots of great choices of games great layout and really friendly staff. Oh, Son in law got high score on one of the games. Awesome day out.

We had a really awesome birthday for my 8yr old here. The staff were really helpful and all the kids had a great time. Thank you.

Another great party at Timezone Riccarton and always a fun time playing all the games especially Basketball. Great service from start to finish by all the staff we spoke to and dealt with. Our Party Host, Sophie was awesome and attentive to all our needs especially towards the birthday girl. Only issue would be the Timezone app which is buggy and hopeless so I deleted it!

Husband and I always love going to timezone on date night. We took kids on our 3rd wedding anniversary and we gathered enough tickets this time (already had heaps) to get mouse trap 😃 always lots of fun here and plenty to play ❤ 😀

My adult son and I took my grandson who is 7 to timezone and we had so much fun. I think the only other feedback is that we played mini golf and there was not enough ventilation, it was so hot we were sweating. Thanks to the amazing staff who were so friendly 😁

I held my daughters 11th Birthday at Timezone Riccarton. It was great the staff member (Natasha) who had helped with keeping my sanity and 9 kids in check and fulfilling their needs was amazing. My self and their dad also got to enjoy ourselves whilst the kids had a blast. The party room, snacks, goodie bags and cake was perfect. Thank you for a stress free day. Was worth every cent for the package deal.

Fun place for all ages actually, um not really for people who like quietness. It's quite loud and dark in there. Was looking forward to bumper car ride with my kid but it's not for 3 year Olds, height requirement I guess 110cm. We played lots of game, lil one enjoyed. Can become expensive but games about $2ish. Reward system is quite cool. Must go place.

A few months ago I complained about this place, I didn't think we would return but my kids begged me to and I'm so glad we did, wow what a difference, the staff were all so friendly, and it looked like a new shop so clean and inviting there were even staff at the bumper cars this time and my kids to top it all off got a free turn in Lazer tag which they loved, where even one of the staff played along. I don't normally post good comments but with such a difference thought well deserved, keep it up!!!!

Awesome place to have date nights and some good old fashion games and up bet place as well can easily spend hours in here and lots of money as well but worth every dollar spent

Always great fun but game prices are a rip off and so is ticket exchange for prizes considering how much you spend to get the tickets.

So much fun playing games, downside is having to wear a mask though. Gets stuffy and hot. Make sure to wear something comfy!

Awesome fun arcade with lots of things to be done! Bowling, laser tags! So much fun area to spend with kids or family or with a sweetheart! They also cater bday party venue perfect for kids who loves the arcade. Great prizes and awesome machines to play! You’ll never get tired but just make sure you’ll have a lot of $$$$$ to top up with your cArd 🤣

I took four boys here for a last minute birthday activity. The Timezone workers (2 men in particular whom I didn't catch their names) were incredibly helpful, friendly and made our time here so fun and full of activities, couldn't thank them enough and they are a true asset to this company and they went above and beyond to ensure we were well entertained. Thanks so much guys, we will be back soon 😊

Games were good but the mini golf design is terrible and needs to be redesigned or no one will be back there. Don’t have very finishing hole raised by a bump making it very boring after trying 6 shots just to hit it up it gets very repetitive this completely ruined the experience

So they have moved into their new premises a few doors down and I have to say it's really nice. My daughters 12 and 6 both enjoyed the arcade games. We went early Sunday to avoid queuing and it was very pleasant we looked at the other activities and will definitely be back again soon to try out the mini golf etc. The guys are on the tills were very nice and helpful kids were happy :-)

The Best Timezone in NZ! Awesome selection of games, and lots of open space to maneuver a double pram around! Has mini-golf, laser tag and bumper cars along with all their arcade games. Defo would recommend checking it out!!

Large with heaps of games, this is a great place to come in and just have fun with your friends or family. The onlyrwason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because the staff are unenthusiastic about being there, which does bring down a otherwise amazing time.

Hands down the best timezone in New Zealand. Has everything! The normal basketball shooting games as well as the smaller were my favourites but there was so many more fun games. I will definitely be going back and I recommend if someone wants to have some fun in a 2 hour window, head down there asap!

So many games and great value! Timezone Riccarton is always adding new games and changing thins up regularly. Their bowling and bumper cars are great fun for the whole family and the laser tag arena is very cool. The rewards and points system works well with great discounts when you top up your card.

I loved watching mybNephew. He was over from the coast. So they don't have a timezone over there. The joy on his face and my older Brothers as well. Brilliant 😆👍

I really appreciate the management team of time zone Riccarton. Especially Jacob and Timothy for helping me getting my grand prize air pods pro and $50 voucher. You guys definitely maintained highest customer service standard in this industry, children and adults will definitely have a wonderful experience here if a management team likes this is work behind the scenes.

My kids had a fantastic time and so did us old parents. Loads of different games and fun for everyone. Around $40 is what you would to expect for around an hours entertainment. Pretty great for 4 people. Good old wholesome family fun.

Great fun place to take your kids or even yourself for something fun but it's not cheap

I'm one for good first impressions and what a lovely first it was. The laser tag was amazing, the spin cars were great and so many mini games to play and earn tickets. The place was clean and well displayed as well as met level 2 expectations (there was a wait at the door and max of 100 people in-store). The kids and I had so much fun, much better with more to offer than the Hornby one. There were alot of staff on so you could always manage to find one if you needed it and they were approachable and helpful. Shout-out to Jake being my favorite person to deal with; loved your enthusiastic happy vibes and I greatly appreciate all the help you did for my wee fam and making the experience so much better. I hope you get a raise 👍🏻😁 We will be back again in future for sure.

Always a good time. Sadly looked like they were hit hard with covid stock levels in the toy machines, but overall a blast of a time.

Absolutely brilliant idea for a party! The team at timezone were excellent and our host for the party did so well at looking after all of the group! The party room had a sink and a microwave so the kids could refill their drink bottles along the way, something I didn't expect but was delighted to find. The kids had an excellent time!

Good variety of games, not a bad deal buying a 60 min pass.

I was amazed at how much I enjoyed it. Reasonably priced arcade games and a good selection. I especially like the fact that you get coupons after each game so kids can choose a couple of lollies/goodies on the way out.

Not a bad place for the kids, Shane they're aren't more arcade style games including some retro ones for the adults

Great place to spend some cash with friends. Basketball is great for tickets. 4p racing can get heated and amazing. Pro tip: Don't take your foot off accelerate and turn hard and early.

Love bringing the kids here during the weekend riccaton is the best one in the city

The glow golf has a MAJOR design flaw. Each hole is on top of a small hill making every hole almost impossible to get. We were two adults and two kids and we all just gave up. The group in front of us also gave up. Remove the hills on the holes please. Everything else is on point, an easy fix. I know why you did it, to make it more challenging since you only have 9 holes, but it totally ruins the experience. Instead just charge less, at least you wont get angry reviews and no recommendations.

What an awesome place to have a party! We were in today for my daughters 10th birthday and it just couldn’t of been better! Sophie was the staff member who helped with the party and she was wonderful looking after all of the girls! I would 100% recommend Timezone for a party, thank you to the whole team for making this a very special day!!

I remember going to time zone about 10 years ago and it was no where near this cool. Payed 25 dollars and was there for over an hour with 5 of us playing games

Its so much bigger since they renovated it. It has loads more machines now and it has bowling which is really fun to play with a few friends. Its certainly not the cheapest but they often have good deals on during the school holiday

It's unreal You only get one game usually and it's so expensive. The gifts for the huge amount of points are not very good. The staff is excellent but we need more wins.

Amazing entertainment my boy thoroughly enjoyed it!! Unfortunately one particular staff member was not so invested. Asked how much a game was as we hadn't been there before. The staff member shrugged her shoulders replying she did not know. Whilst we were selecting prizes 2 young boys came in and one tried to put an item in his pocket, I stopped him and told the same staff member, she looked annoyed at me telling her and did nothing. The child became very abusive. I asked her do you have security or can you call security. She replied no we do nothing. A warning to anyone attending this business to hold on to your bags and wallets tightly. Dissapointing customer service. Re reply: Do you have an email will send contact details.

I have been here a few times now and never tire of the excitement in the arcade. However, it be good if it were a bit more achievable to attain a lot more points in one visit.

Great place for wasting some time, and lots of money. Most games are at least $2 a go. Ouch. Impressed they've managed to fit in 6 bowling lanes, laser tag, and mini golf.

Bigger, new, with bowling and other game perfect for birthday party

I took my son there on his 6th bday for the first time. He absolutely loved it. Not too many people inside ,all nice and clean ☺️ His favourite was riding motorbike and fishing 🎣.

Love the new venue. Great service from the staff and specifically the manager who we know from previous visits to hornby Timezone. We have visited the new venue 4 times so far and there are still games that are not currently operating which our son always asks to play. Once they are operating I will definitely change to 5 stars.

First time in riccarton timezone today, great variety for kids of different ages, timezone has dedinatly come a long way since I was a kid

So much fun. There's bowling, laser tag is huge. Lots of new games and bumper car thingys. Brilliant for all ages. Thursdays have a special and first Sunday of the month.

Took the kids in today and they had an absolute blast, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Love the new idea of the tickets going straight on the card, makes things super easy. Will definitely be coming back.

Very very busy today, fun time though. Unfortunately the balls kept getting stuck in one of the games so it meant we run out of time and didn't get all the balls we should have. Had fun would go again.

Oh timezone is super fun, staff were very helpful and explained everything thoroughly, if you were any age you could come here and enjoy yourself! Personal fave game was the bumper cars!! Waaaay too much fun haha! Lots of games to play! Didn't seem overly crowded which was cool! Great spot

I have changed my rate from 3 stars to 5 stars. Because they dealt with negative review positively. That's the one of good attricutes I would respect as most people, including me, would be a sour player when negative opions araised. Good on you.

Overall a massive improvement from the old timezone. Great to spend some time with friends/ family for some fun. Unfortunately the game I was looking forward to play there was 'Dancerush Revolution' was broken. The game did not pick up my movements on the platform vey well. Plus the game was showing that it wasreading movements on the platform when no one was standing on it

Wow this place is new and improved so many cool options love the new setup. They were very generous too when one of the games weren't working and gave me a refund worth 3 games! Very impressive.

I could spend so much money here, I really need to go and spend another afternoon here some time with my girlfriend. It's a really nice place and the staff are polite too. Super fun games, super fun atmosphere, a great selection of games too. This place is a good location for a fun date day with the partner. Highly recommend selecting Wario in Mario Cart, just adds to the experience really.

Really expensive considering most games are just basic iPad apps on a big screen. Lots of games could also be failed (game over) before you realise it's started, wasting even more money. Somehow still incredibly busy and crowded. I must admit, the kids who don't understand value for money enjoyed it at least

Pretty big arcade, but the games weren't user friendly, they'd suddenly decide they needed staff attendance. The staff are really friendly though.

Its ok but for the money you spend the prizes are definitely not worth it ... we spent well over $100 an eneded up with a $2shop hair brush for our girls an a chocolate bar i could of spent less money for the same thing up for prizes an the ticket amounts people get !

Cant not go here everytime I'm at the mall. So addictive and fun. You can win tickets and tickets get prizes and who doesn't love that. The staff are friendly and you cant get bored here! But I challenge anyone to try beat me at the basketball game :)

Kids and Adults everything is enjoyable be nice to see the team with more wiping down properly keeping it safe and hygiene up but it's always a fun time.
