l.Beautiful place, can be very windy however. It can be a good place to stop, there is shelter nearby too - but it isn't ideal for a weekend getaway from the city. A picnic can also be a struggle to maximise enjoyment from, as there is often sports on here. However, it is still a superb place to walk your dog or even sit for a moment to ponder as you overlook the inlet. Other sports facilities such as tennis and basketball courts nearish to the playground help make this place enjoyable for a variety of people. All in all, it is a solid 4 star venue with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy.
M.Great walking park with beautiful skies, water and birds
M.Great place to swim your dog. Great place to run your dog. Field is also part of Bayfield High School. Great community place. Also has a fantastic playground for the children. Toilets available at the pavilion.
M.Nice park to let the kids have a play at.
If you're feeling lazy, you can sit in your vehicle and watch them without having to leave the warmth.
There's a few swings and a climbing course with slides and poles etc as well as a see-saw and a merry-go-round-swing-type thing. Plenty of fun for kids and adults alike.
Sometimes you can see octopus in the inlet as they come in seeking the warmer waters and are unable to find their way out again at low tide.
Bayfield has a few large sports fields so there's plenty of room to kick a ball around.
Plenty of parking but on sunny days it fills right up.
No stores in the immediate vicinity but there is a decent dairy nearby on Musselburgh Rise.
Quite often there is a coffee van parked in the carpark for a nice brew or a snack to enjoy while you hang out.
R.Well kept park located next to the harbour with great scenic views. Sometimes the lagoon can smell quite bad especially on hot days. Walking around the lagoon is great exercise and takes about 20-30 minutes depending on your walking pace. Dog friendly at night also.
E.Would be better if the dog walked kept their dogs on a leash everytime they walk past the park. Do if you're not a big fan of random dogs running up to your children while their play, go hard, if you're kids are scared of dogs avoid it. It's right on the edge of a large field that people walk dogs on. The park itself is really fun, beautiful spot, something for most ages of children.

R.A good field to do things that require a field. The playground there is good and has lots of different things for the kids to do.
It has public toilets about half way along which are clean. Always a bonus when it comes to public toilets!!
M.Amazing, relaxing, kids enjoying
S.Great for quick walks, jogging, picnics by the waters edge or on benches near playground. Not so great in wet weather of course, grounds and walkways get very soggy, wear appropriate footwear. Dog loves it, keep off marked sports ground area and pick up after your dog. Great spot for a takeaway dinner, park and look out at water if weather not great. Unfortunately I've noticed people throw their rubbish straight out the window in the carpark - there are rubbish bins around. Couple more bins would be great in summer as they get overfilled. Recommendation to get some lighting put in along walkway for night walks.
H.This park has space to do a bit of everything. There's two playgrounds. A rugby field. A cricket pitch. A tennis court. A football field. There's so much space so that you're never in anyone's way. It's a good field to run around or walk around and have the novelty of doing it with the close up views of the sea.

G.Good spot to bring the kids, lots of parking, nicely maintained playground, and never too far from a rubbish bin. With a view down portsmouth Dr all the way to the molars. Right on the water
