Orange light protocol followed correctly. A lovely meal with friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.

Nice meal but the process to get into the place was awkward. We were asked for our Covid passes, no problem with that. Then for ID to prove the Covid pass was ours and then asked to remove our masks so the lady could check we were us. A bit ridiculous when masks are supposed to protect us.

Free steak and dessert for the VIP The steak is much more better than other place. Dessert was a surprise. The only thing was the banana smoothie took so long, the waitress served the drink after all the food. Overall, fair enough.

Had the $18 Thai Beef Salad Delicious. Sent compliments to the Chef before realising there was minimum beef. Our waitress was delightfull Exceptional Service and lovely surroundings.Only for the beef I would have given 5 stars as the dressing was delicious

Set within an elegant hotel this is New Zealand nicest casino. If you want the full experience then this is the one to pick. It's the only one where you can lose your money (or otherwise) in a nice location. Note: I did work here when it opened, but I have worked on two others in NZ and this is the best.

The food at Dunedin Casino is amazing. Felt like calling the police as got absolutely robbed on the pokes, but the cuisine made up for it.

The resturant staff were efficient and polite despite it being a very busy time. Our meals were well presented on time and were excellent. They were reasonably priced. The venue wás a great addition to the experience.

I come here for the restaurant. They offer good value meal for pensioners as well. My friends and I always have a good time when we come here to have dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The difficulty of taking my friend out to eat is that she can cook better than Gordon Ramsay and many others. Compliments to the lunch chef today, Tuesday. If you are young consider the multiple options ahead of you. If your retiring gradually, you have chosen very well. The steak was perfectly cooked just as I asked for it. A touch on the rare side of medium/rare. It melted in my toothless mouth. Divine, though the sauce needed a little bacon or something. The steamed vegetables were cooked to perfection. The chips were the best I've tasted in Dunedin in a very long time. Thank you it was a pleasure to eat your food. I admit I was wondering when there would be a call to the pokies or some gambling, but it never came. I could see some machines but couldn't hear them. This added to the pleasure of the meal. We will be back.

We visited the Casino and spent our allocated money within 10 minutes - not good luck that night. However, we decided to stay and have a drink anyway. The building where the casino is located is brilliant and worth a visit just to see it.

Seems nice enough. Bar and restaurant were under renovation so wasn't a pleasant experience getting a drink. Also we did t win which puts a downer on things haha 😂 . Still. A nice establishment

Located on the second floor next to the scenic Southern Cross hotel. The casino is quite small, not very spacious inside, machines are lined up very closely, with narrow wide walk ways. Tickets can be printed out from the machines and be paid out by cash down dispenser.

Great service and yummy cocktails. Definitely a must visit especially since its been done up. Looks great!

Was a quiet evening enjoying a beer and a checky dable . And hit a grand jackpot on the slots so cashed out . Great staff

Eating at the casino is a pleasant experience ... it is all about marketing. Tasty food, a couple of wines and then off to the lure of the pokies. Plenty of special restaurant promotions and deals on offer. There are even finger food options for those who cannot leave their lucky machine but the restaurant menu and setting provide a far more relaxing dining option.

Love the old style staircase,friendly service.Went dressed for the snow,was no need.Lots of different up to date gaming machines.However was difficult finding a car park.Didnt see any signage.Found a park eventually,won alittle bit of money,walked out pleased,made back what i lost.Overall generally pleased

Good service, nice food and discounted menu for Gold card members on Mondays and Tuesdays. Just wish gambling machines were behind closed doors as ruins atmosphere (but it is a casino after all and I guess they want to encourage people to play) 🙄

Service a bit lacking, dirty tables needed clearing, gambling tables area smelt....needs some air freshener pumping out. Might have rated higher if I had won some money lol!

Small Casino. Has Blackjack, Baccarat, Carribbean Stud poker (Table not open when I was there) Variety of slots - All Aboard, Lightning Link and old time favourites.

Great place to dine and reasonably priced food. Plenty of options on menu if you are wanting a light meal or full dinner. Lovely girl looking after our table.

I thought the food was average and the service was less than average. I found the staff were not very attentive and were unavailable to ask for water. I had to go looking for it. Then when time to pay I also had to find someone who was available. No one came to check in during my meal which in this case would have been good.

What a lovely place to go for a meal. Very busy but very quick service with large portions. I ordered the DC Chicken Burger and my friend ordered the Pork Belly. Both very tasty meals.

The spirit of the cassino wasn't as exciting as it should be, they need to review the menu as it is not sensibly arranged,food was good & reasonably priced ,the last time we went I won $30 in ten minutes, but this time was the reversal ,THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS .

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was good although the mash was dry and stuck in the mouth. A good place to go when wanting dinner and some entertainment before or after on the slot machines.

Rooms and clean and tidy beds are comfortable, room is also reasonable size, very nice. Food at restaurants is very nice, meal was cooked as requested, staff were polite pleasant and very helpful.

For a casino this place is awesome. Separated machines room. Food was good and priced fairly. Staff were nice. American roulette with a French wheel was good to see and a $5 Caribbean stud table.

Been a few times now. Staff are great apart from one who was a bit unfriendly. Only had 1 meal slightly over cooked but every other time attending here has been absolutely great!

Is an Ok casino won $1700. The cashier Leo was a sour puss. He actually put me of wanting to stay any longer. A congratulations and maybe a smile woulda been more welcoming. Anyway GoodLuck i only spent $6 lol

Great safe place to go out for a drink or meal. You don't have to gamble to visit here. Our last visit was with friends for coffee, which was great.

Standard small casino, plenty of gaming and not much else. Small bar and kitchen if you want to sit somewhere beside a poker machine. Few table games available and free baggage check.

Casino is situated in the heart of the city across the road from the hotel we were staying at we had fun playing some games there is a nice restaurant and bar in the casino food very nice.

Food was delivered hot and within a reasonable time. Waitress was very good

This small casino is not so overwhelming as larger ones and has a real roulette wheel rather than screens .very friendly and welcoming..

I'm one for the love of casino's little small and out dated but all the staff bring the place alive. Would recommend for a night out for some fun.
