Very pleasant experience.. Lardge comfortable double couches with side table arms to enjoy a meal on from the cinema bistro while enjoying the movie of your choice. With surround sound and small theatres it makes watching a totally immersive experience. A wonderful atmosphere with very pleasant staff.. A theatre well worth the effort to watch the latest releases..

Was looking forward to watching spider man no way home here but technical difficulties occurred where they could only allow people to watch a 2 year old movie will change this if good news about spiderman no way home 👍 "yet it is still a good cinema to go to and also wasn't their fault"

The Feilding Focal Point is a fantastic place to grab a coffee and a bite while enjoying a movie in a very relaxed theatre. I've been there several times and can highly recommend it.

Absolutely 5 star, southern chicken melt in the mouth as did the waffles. Service with a smile such quality. Do not hesitate breakfast lunch or dinner. Perfect cup of tea.

Wow what an experience. You can order a snack which gets delivered to you in the theater and enjoy a glass of wine if you wish. Lovely staff.

Great movie experience! A little chilly but welcome respite from the heat outside! 4 iced chocolates cost us $26 but totally worth it! Our kids loved their first movie and we'll definitely be back. Not the traditional, large crowded cinemas - more laid back with couches and cushions. Definitely recommend.

Best cinema ever! Love the decor and friendly staff. The food is wonderful and they even brought our movie snacks in to us as we watched. Very comfy couches too.

Great little cinema. Like sitting in your lounge but better! The coffee is good, the food is great, and the service is legendary. In terms of movies there is a good selection, and the screen and sound system give a pretty good experience. Prefer this over the larger 100+ seat cinemas. And the best part is the price - very reasonable!

Very good. Coffee absolutely great. Not a good range of food but what I had wasn't too bad, went at the end of the day and by them the food looked a bit grotty. Cinema was quite noisy, and I would really appreciate some sort of soundproofing. Fabulous service, will definitely be going again.

As a cafe, it has decent coffee, friendly staff (but not annoyingly so), and well priced food. Not super fancy but that's part of the appeal. Makes for a good "drop in" cafe. As a movie theatre, it's downright swanky in comparison to any of the local offerings. Ticket prices are reasonable and while the food is a bit more expensive it feels worth it as an experience.

Lovely cinema. Feels more like a living room with a large screen. The sofas are comfortable and you can order hot food. It is a bit pricy and plays only selected movies but it is also a great experience and totally worth it.

The couches are far more comfortable than regular cinema chairs. I was disappointed there wasn't popcorn but they did hot chips as an alternative and bring them to you right in the cinema which is nice. I was unaware you should book your seating in advance but managed to get a seat anyway. I will book next time.

I was really impressed with this place, one of our group unfortunately became unwell and required medical assistance, the manager rang the ambulance, and we managed to make sure the lady was OK. He was very calm about it, the movie carried on so others weren't too disrupted with their movie watching experience, he relayed the details well to the comms crew of what was happening, I watched out for the ambulance to arrive, it was a really cold night and he made me a yummy hot ginger honey and lemon, while I was outside waiting for an ambulance to come from Cloverleaf, near Palmerston North, the previous one he had called had been diverted. He rang to impress the urgency/remind the communications staff. He opened the emergency exit so the ambulance staff could access the theatre more easily. I found his manner professional and warm. Managers like him are gold. Anyone going to this place is in great hands. I will have to catch the end of the film on another occasion, although the lady is OK, CT scan clear this morning apparently, and she was the main priority!

We were disappointed with long black coffee this morning. Only good, rather than excellent and the price has gone up to $4. That makes it much more expensive than the other cafés we frequent around the Manawatu.

They always have delicious slices although their coffee can sometimes be hit and miss, depending on the barista. I often take home some of their salads for a meal at home. Nice staff.

I am Coeliac, however even though I mentioned that I needed Gluten Free, when my meal came it had normal gravy on It!! Movie was good but exit light on the screen spoils the movie picture quality.

Very limited range of food-1 small cabinet and a short menu. In the small cafe; the clatter of the staff doing dishes behind the counter is shocking...completely cuts into conversations and affects ones experience. The movie theatre has the same problem of exterior noise invading your experience :\. On a positive note; the service is good and the movies run on time..i do like that your coffees etc you've ordered in the cafe is brought into the cinema once its ready...that's pretty cool:)

A cosy little cinema and cafe. The seats are all armchair comfortable, and you can order food and drink, and they'll bring it to you in the theater. Same service standard as you're charged an arm and a leg for in the big cinemas.

Focal Point is my "go to" movie theatre. The seats are very comfortable, the coffee is great and the theatres small and intimate. I love the variety of movies- a mixture of popular current movies, Foreign films , art films, children's... The loyalty card is very generous too. Highly recommended.

Its a nice place to go for a night out but the only criticism i have is the long wait for the meals.We have to scoff it down fast so we dont miss the movie.

seats are super comfy, and theatre has quirky homely feel. Down side is you can't bring your own food (but is still possible to smuggle in) and they dont sell popcorn but it is a cafe and wine bar sooo... swings and roundabouts I suppose

Great experience with brilliant service bringing food to you while seated in yhe luxuriously cosy viewing room. Only fault was our partly deaf Mum found it very hard to hear the sound. Recommended!

Great coffee and staff are very friendly.I had breakfast here with a friend and we both enjoyed our meals .The cafe itself is quite small however I noticed that there is another dining area through the back.They also serve cabinet food including gluten free choices.The amenities are very clean.There is s movie theatre on site which makes this cafe a good choice if wanting a meal or snack before or after movie.

Very disappointing when booking on line the seats you chose are not the seats allocated at the time of collecting tickets. I had tried to book 2 seats in the back row instead we get 2 seats in the front row At the time of booking 9.50am on the day of screening only 6 seats had been taken so seriously disappointed Also no cutlery, water or drinking glasses offered with our meals.
