S.Gorgeous day at the beach today. A good crowd and heaps of people. Took the body board but waves were soft so not anything too exciting.

A.Good place to go for a swim on a hot day. There are surf lifesavers patrolling the beach. It also has flags out to show where it is safe to swim.
J.Worth taking a trip to the beach. 10mins max from main road. Quite a large settlement. The beach goes on and on and on.
c.A bit windy but a quiet clean beach which you can drive your car onto and watch the sunset. Very beautiful.

Such a beautiful place to be. Winter or summer. I know I feel very at peace being there . It's a really clean beach and everyone seems to love it there. Everyone is friendly and haven't had a bad experience there yet. The ocean is beautiful! Make sure to get there for the sunset if you ever get the chance during the summer... it's breath taking and a very romantic spot indeed.
C.Excellent beach, very surprised, usually just drive through Foxton on our way some place else, definitely will return to foxton. Must bring good sunscreen, weather was wonderful

T.Just great, went on New Years Day, beautiful weather, beach was crowded and they had plenty of lifeguards there and the flags up, felt sorry for them really as even though the large patch of beach where the flags were had cones up to stop cars from coming through, there were still clowns on motor bikes zipping through the cones and the hundreds of adults and children there. The lifeguards were trying their best to stop them AND watch the water, shame really, that there are always Neanderthals trying to ruin all the normal peoples day, well done to the surf club for providing such diligent lifeguards :)
K.Great beach for the whole family,has showers and changing rooms. Life guards do a excellent friendly service of looking after the public...excellent food shops near by and plenty of parking for house bus or campers and vehicles.
D.Huge beach with plenty to do. Always interesting finds along the shore. Heaps of parking and can even drive along the beach. Often people walking their dogs and enjoying the environment. Reasonably clean of rubbish and common scraps. Highly recommended for some good vibes 😎
F.It's not to much around but a very lovely beach boot really busy so a great place to make a stop. Just don't forget to bring your own food and drinks or get it on the way in the village:)

P.Beautiful down the beach except a bit windy the day I took the grandkids but they saw a deal which made their day
T.Was a member of this organisation as a kid, took part of a number of local competitions, it was great fun to learn water and life saving skills. If you are living near, definitely check it out, the education is priceless.
