Just wanted a cheap clean comfortable no frills place to stay on way to catch the ferry in Wellington and this fitted the bill- the owner is so friendly and went out of her way to make us very welcome- very clean - great shower and quiet to sleep.

It is a nice good enough place. Old building as it seems to be. I stayed there on 23/10/2021. By the loos of it's light switches and all it seemed to me an old school. The lady who served me and checked me in was really nice. She got on very nice and seemed to be really nice. My room had no microwave though I needed one. So she adjusted one for me. They do not cater. So, you need to shop ur food yourself.

It's a little worn around the edges, but it was clean and comfortable and our host Marama was amazing - she shared the history of the hotel and had excellent local knowledge, recommended us all the best spots and activities. We had a fun time in Foxton and would stay again at the Post Office Hotel.

This is a cool place to visit and a few grocery items from Holland. The museum next door is fantastic, a must to check out and also the cafe on the opposite side is so yummy, they have vegan options too. (bonus) 👍thanks Foxton NZ.

Friendly service. Even got a bit of history about the place upon booking in. Spacious room with private bathroom ( shower, sink, toilet). Fridge with milk, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery for 2. TV , heater and electric blankets. Great value for money.

The host we had check us in was amazing! Went above and beyond for us! Would definitely stay again in room 2. Bed was so comfy wish I could of taken it home 🤣😉. Very clean nice and simple everything right down the street. Until next time #thedairyfarmers

The lady that settled us in was so lovely! The room was adequate, the bathroom was quite nice. The bed was veeeeery soft! Which is the only reason it gets 4 rather than 5 stars. Some people would love a super soft bed, but we found we sunk into it way too much and didn't sleep as well as we could have. The location is great, had a great coffee at the Te Awahou Niewe Stroom cafe in the morning

The manager Matama is amazing. Great room, really big with on suit bath. We got lots of tips about what to visit and where to eat. Would recommend this place!
