a.Watching the movie was great, seats comfy enough. Good turn around of new movies. Only reason it gets 3 stars is because of the younger staff, the young girl at the counter was on her phone and could barely be bothered serving me and the consession stand was the same. Also need more selection I.e chips, iceblocks, smaller bags of lollies etc
W.Very nice cinema, I don't know why some people complaining. It is an old and only cinema in Gisborne, but still acceptable conditions. Their toilets also clean and looked like brand new. We should supporting this local cinema and not let this only cinema in Gisborne close down.
M.It was really nice with good service and the theater was nice and clean. How ever the 2m rule with the seating needs to be looked at while we are in level 2.
M.Enjoyed our movie experience! Historic building was a bonus. Comfy seating and reasonable priced snacks.

C.Downstairs cinemas need new seating. Very uncomfortable so much so that it ruins the whole going to the movies experience. Have also had not one but two power cuts during two different movie viewings.

J.Were here on Sunday night and it was almost empty. Friendly staff at the ticket desk helped us pick a movie based on our interest. I'd say the tickets are a bit overpriced, but the snacks are quite cheap on the other hand (small popcorn for 3$). If there is a movie for a big screen, you can't do anything wrong heading here.

a.Movies for you for family for a group of friends, clean and on top of that if the kids like posters there's an excellent array of choices and are free. Great for the kids room or for the flat if you just set up your own and wanting something to redecorate and tirn a flat into a welcoming place to party and have friends to perhaps start a conversation
M.Great place to spend the afternoon. Been a very long time since I've been to a 2 o'clock session! Anyway great overall experience, highly recommend.
J.Great theatre and really accomodating, usually. It is not ideal though to have a movie that us oldies might enjoy, only on at 8.30pm. A lot of us are probably close to sleep by then. Could you have a show during the afternoon? It might even get your rating a little higher.

P.Comfortable seat and polite service. Need to be more hygienic with food - ice cream cones being prepared without gloves or paper cone covers. When i queried it i was told they wash their hands !! (Is that after every time they handle money - bit yikky for me).

R.Its the old style movie theatre. Quirky and fun but old. The number 4 cinema was perfect.
⸻.The Odeon is pretty cool. Staff are nice as usual. Food and drink prices are reasonable. Only issue is that some upgrades need doing.

T.I can only be honest...watched Star Wars in Cinema 3 been years since I've been to the Odean and i believe it may be time for a revamp old smell from the seating carpet and probably the drapes nothing a really good clean cant fix ☺

A.Comfortable seating and friendly staff but not all movie theatres have surround sound and screen has distracting marks.
