M.Second day of the 2020 A&P show. Started out as a typical spring day showers, cloud and finally sunshine. The crowd seemed smaller, but it was probably more to do about the weather than covid19, because around 2pm the car park began to fill out. Seemed like the shearing shed was the place to be and the music from a live band and of course the loud speaker from the main area could be heard.
I was parked by the dog trials, wow they are clever☑️ 🐕I think her name was Kate and she was The Boss!
Every one looked like they had enjoyed themselves.
Lots of families brought picnics. I'm going back tomorrow.

T.I have been here 16 years and every Camp Manager has a way of drawing people to the A/P showground whether it be campsites or function or A/P show its still good and still attract many...like it says GISBORNE is the first to get the sun and from afar has come to enjoy...so safe trip to those that travel home may see you agin....Ka kite ano.

J.Good facilities with a huge cooking space and lounge. Good hot water pressure and cost is $1 for 5 mins. Can get a bit noisy with flying aircraft from the nearby airstrip.
H.Nice pressure for shower, need to pay $1 coin ,lasts 5 minutes.
Also each powered site by showgrounds had fresh drinking water 🚰
L.We have stayed here for 2 weeks while we work some casual fruit picking. Awesome team to deal with, Awesome guests dotted around the camp. Safe and quiet. Dog friendly, Thanks for putting us up. Many thanks, Leanne, Karen and wolfie.

K.I have been staying on a powered site for 4 weeks. This camp is great. It's a little micro community of awesome people. I have felt safe and well looked after. Security is excellent, the showers are hot, toilets, kitchen and communal areas are clean and people are super respectful.
Erica and Jenny have gone out of their way for me, and for that I am super grateful
D.Awesome place to stay, dog friendly which was a blessing for us!!! Great facilities and very helpful. Would highly recommend it to stay, especially with your pet!
G.A lovely, scenic, spacious site; in this sometimes crowded world. The office lady was friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Prices reasonable, and facililies clean and comprehensive
Suggestion: a couple of replacement couches in the lounge might be in order.

S.Great place to camp. Lots of space to spread out and have the kids run around. Pretty close to town. And an easy drive into the main street and lots of shops and shopping. A quick trip to the beach but out of the busy-ness of town
