Great view of gisborne at its entirety. Easy access to drive up. As long as drunken teens dont ruin it.

A nice walk up Kaiti hill along with a veiw from the top. Princess Diana's tree is along the way. Make it to the top and see 3d map and a bit of history.

Great place to watch the sunset or just go during the day to watch over town. The walk up is relatively easy but requires walking up multiple stairs. The view is really beautiful and it's also a good spot for a picnic. There is a children playground and some exercices accessories.

A great place to view Poverty Bay.. Just a shame that what was the National Observatory is no longer there.. If you want a glimpse of the night sky bring binoculars or do what we did.. book a astro experiance with gisborneastrotours.com

Outstanding view and if you are looking for a bit of a workout the climb on foot will have you gasping in no time. Make sure to see the Pohutukawa planted by Princess Diana in 1983 part way up the hill

Great lookout spot on the hill. Also a good place to learn about the history of New Zealand and Cook's arrival. We stopped briefly on a busy day on the way to Napier and was glad we did. The road up is accessable by car or ever by a large motorhome. We went up with our 7m campervan and no problems. Take a camera with, great spot. 🙂

I love the views and enjoy walking the hill. People are friendly as you walk the hill a cheerful hi or a kia ora. It's a place that takes your breath away as you lookout on towards the sea and hills and also the town. 👌👍
