Dolamore Park is Gorgeous! Beautiful bush walks for all. Camping and a wonderful play ground for young and old! You have to try the flying fox! Or a game of Frisbee Golf while you walk around the park! Don’t forget your frisbee!

Great place to take family or perhaps stay the night walks,bike riding and even disc golf

Nice park for a day out large grass area playground BBQ area toilets and walkways up into bush and lookout area and ample parking. Has several areas for caravan or mobile home to be plugged in. No dogs or hunting allowed

Great spot, Big play ground for Kids and Nice scenic reserve.

Nice place to be with nature. We went on the track to Popplewells Lookout. A bit steep and muddy in places but generally easy to traverse. The lookout is a bit overgrown with gorse and the lookout angle is quite narrow. Nice for a day walk but views are not fantastic.

We camped here in the weekend and it was awesome. Frisbee golf needs a real revamp, tees too hard to find and having to wade through thistles and cutty grass are no ones idea of fun!

Had a stop over with children on way from school camp and it's such a lovely place

Large open park with rhododendrons and arbortoreum, big playground with flying fox, public toilets, barbques, stream, lots Bush walks and hikes.

Love it it is so peaceful and beautiful. It is safe place for children to play.

it may have a lack of public toilet. but the games and numerous jungle tracking pathways are the best of the best.

Paradise!! Beautiful bush walks, wonderful Rhododendron gardens and even Glow worms visible a few minutes walk up the loop track.

Great scenic reserve and fun frisbee golf course

Close to Gore but total tranquility. A very well looked after park, good for nature camping. Plenty of toilet blocks but only one shower. Wander about on well maintained paths looking at a huge variety of planted trees and native bush.

Although it was rainy we had a great time seeing the glow worms at night and walking the tracks in the day. My daughter really enjoyed the play ground and was super inexpensive to stay with great facilities. Definitely worth a visit, to stay or just visit for the day. Also got great picnic spots.

Only the third time visiting this park but what perfect timing. Autumn colours are absolutely stunning in the Arboretums and the sun was just going down, so it was the Golden hour. Get your cameras out and check it out. Lots of Bell Birds, Fantails and Wood pigeons as well.

Dolamore park is a secret paradise that is even unknown to the people of Gore. Wonderful area to stop in. Caravan and Motor homes have power, toilets, and a kitchen. The area also has great Bush walks, children's play area, and a safe stream for the kids to hunt babies, a form of fresh water crayfish. Well worth the visit and an overnight stay at a very reasonable price.

Nice park to take the kids on a sunny day

This is my best place. So beautiful. Well maintained and very helpful caretaker. Signage needs to be clearer for campers as they often go staight ahead past cottage and end up in car park and wonder if that's it. Then sharp rt corner to camp area difficult for large RVs when trying to get back again. Then where are the envelope to pay!!!???

Green pasture, good for a stop "in nature" between Te Anau and Dunedin. I advise to stay only 1 night, and only when you don't need to shower or dump. There is 1 shower, but it's not great, nor are the toilets. Could not find/access the dump station, there was no answer on the caretaker's mobile phone. The park is beautiful, nice landscaping and trees. Great playground, also for older kids.

Mtb friendly too

A wonderful place to explore with a number of great bush walks and stuff for kids to do. A credit to the Gore Council for the maintenance and upkeep.

Beautiful grounds, amazing kids playground, great kitchen, toilet and shower facilities, brilliant value for money. We stayed here for one night as a stopover between Milford Sound and Dunedin and it was perfect.

It will seem like you are heading out to the boonies, you are and it's worth it. Great facilities, hot showers, simple clean toilets. Like a botanical garden with great bushwalks Really impressive children's playground.

Great roadside park to throw a tent down and get some rest. Kitchen facilities were welcome as we needed to eat quite late in the day. Quiet grounds and very affordable.

Most beautiful camp grounds-well maintained. The caretaker EJ goes a great job! Really enjoyed our stay.

Fresh air,song birds,bush walks,community kitchen,shower,toilets,bbqs,glow worms, a great place to camp with powered sites $10 per night per adult.

Awesome walkways and a great location foe a picnic. Best on a dry day but still was worth the trip out on a cold wet day that I was in town.

Great community asset, wonderful adventure park, childrens playground, three separate toilet facilities, shower, 20+ power sites, several large barbeques, kitchen/shower, glowworms on loop track 1min into track on righthand side (nrth east), plenty of walking tracks up to 4hrs.

Stayed here, a magic place lots of open space. Glow worms at night. Play ground, basic shower and a kitchen and very cheap will definitely stay there again.
