E.Very nice place for picninc or a walk, took us around 50 minutes to go around the lake. My baby jogger went well on the gravel trail. Many things to look at. Great for kids. Not many people are there. Restrooms are available but there is no playground

A.Fantastic for walking around the lake as an exercise centre. Well kept pathway. Very close to Lake so adequate child care is needed. Overall, well worth the walk around.
No catering available but an awesome situation for peace & quiet.
A.About an hour walk. With all sorts of adventures for the the kids. Little huts hidden throughout. We play find them all. Lots of fairy houses and tron rocks making it a very unique trail to walk. Also the farms next to it have deer which the kids enjoy seeing.
B.Great place for an easy walk and picnic, accessible to those wanting a relaxed terrain or with strollers. Views are amazing as well.
S.Lovely peaceful place which is also a duck haven. Hope they live through duck shooting season! Love the fairy houses done by kids.
L.Such a lovely peaceful lake on the outskirts of Hamilton. Dogs on leads welcome, duck shooting in season, picnic tables and public toilets available. 1 hour easy walk around the lake. Gates shut at dusk. All rubbish to be taken away. Waterskiing and jet boating allowed in designated areas. Camping prohibited.
S.Great walk, about 40min to 1hr depending on how fast you walk. About 70% of track is gravel and the rest grass. Can be quite soft in places in winter. Has a number of picnic tables and off street parking for about 12 cars. Can get busy in popular times. There is a toilet about 2 min walk from carpark.

V.I came here with a friend and had a picnic
d.Nice place. Went there to fish. Not much sign of fish ont the surface but eventually caught 2, 1 rudd and 1 eel. Wont be going back to fish. All the way round the lake, the land is water logged 5 to 15 metres back from the lake edge. The path around it not water logged though.
D.Spent an hour Kayaking on the lake and rounded of with a glass of wine and a picnic. Beautiful setting, great walks and keep an eye out for the fairies houses and toadstools dotted along the walk.

C.Nice for a walk but there are a heap of bugs flying around, though it is a lake so it is too be expected. Just wear glasses and be prepared to be hit by a ton of gnats
T.Quiet and fun place to walk and enjoy the countryside
C.Really don't want to share this secret place with townees. Just the right distance for a light run or walk. This walk is a lot busier than two years ago so be aware that dogs must be on leads.
Be respectful and clean up after them. Dogs are safe from poison if under control. The lake closes for duck season and the tracks flood with heavy rain.
y.Very suprised that the road down to the carpark beside the lake was extremely narrow. It is raised up and the ditches either side looked quite steep. Sweet if you have a 4wd, but a regular car or one lowered, would have issues due to the angle. I was fortunate no cars were coming the opposite way.VERY relieved actually!. . Have a feeling my own car wouldnt be able to navigate that gradient!!

U.Hello, the latest development is that the path along the lake has been renovated and more lovely crafts have also been added.
E.3.3km round the lake walk. Gravel paths most of way. Dog friendly, but keep on lead. Good picnic spots. Suitable for prams.

M.It was calm and there was hardly any other people there! Great for a picnic and a paddle on the kayaks after church on a Sunday afternoon.

Tracks are not arranged properly. They are on going for better lake.
