S.Our fur baby had matted fur and needed a groom but was very anxious. Sue was so gentle and calming with her and settled her down so she could groom her. Thank you Sue, it was awesome to experience your professionalism and affinity with animals. We will definitely recommend your services.

We like that she always got us to leave both pups there while she groomed them so they would get used to the salon and feel happy there. My children always love that they get to choose a little toy for the dogs after their grooming, such a treat!

This is far more than a wash and cut, and we know that Buddy is is very good hands. Sue also looks after various health aspects and has assisted with scaling of teeth, for which our vet had given us a quote in the hundreds for. When we pick Buddy up the kids get to choose a toy for him, and he's happily playing with the other pups in the backyard. He comes home happy, healthy and handsome.

N.First time I have used Sue and she did an amazing job! My little man was very overdue for a groom and I was really impressed with the groom and the price. C.I have been going to Sue for almost 3 years now. She cares for and grooms Billy every 3 months. The services she provides for a very reasonable cost include haircut, nail clip, teeth cleaned and checked, flea shampoo. On top of all this, Sue knows my dog really well and has even given me plenty of advice about his behaviours.
Billy was adopted by us at aged 3. Sue has helped us to connect to other services such as raw food and dog training.
Every time he goes to Sue, Billy comes home looking and smelling great.
There have been times when my appointment time has had to be changed last minute and Sue has always remained flexible.

S.A return customer for many years. Sue is a highly experienced groomer and offers a great service (teeth cleaning). We have a Cavalier King Charles who does not like to be groomed, but he always gets the best of care at Mucky Pup Grooming and comes home feeling relaxed. Well equipped salon with good quality equipment and easy parking.
R.By far the best groomer we’ve been too. Would highly recommend. Sue is so caring and her advice on training is spot on. It’s been hard to find a groomer that understands our very full on Jack Russell, but we’ve found this with Sue. Service is perfect and we really appreciate her time and patience and of course, the great hair cut.

C.Prior to Sue we tried other groomers as we moved around a bit. On our return to the area we found Sue and only then found out that we had been missing out! Not only does she do a great groom, she also clips nails, checks ears and, if the dog allows it, cleans their teeth! All round fantastic service. Sue also provides feedback on little things that she notes while grooming - her vet nurse background is such a bonus.
W.We were in the market for a new dog groomer & I found Sue @ Mucky Pup grooming on google so made contact, Sue came back to me quickly, was extremely accommodating as I work in Auckland Monday to Friday & needed a weekend appointment, Sue fitted us in today which was awesome.
What an amazing lady!! My dog was excited when we got there even though he had never been there before, Sue was really welcoming, really professional, fantastic facility. I felt really comfortable leaving Mahrlei with Sue even though neither of us had been there before.
Mahrlei was in a heck of a state in serious need of a groom, Sue said it wasn’t a problem she knew exactly what to do with him.
Sue text me when he was ready, Sue did such an amazing job, this is the best groom Mahrlei has ever had. Sue & her team are outstanding!! I can’t recommend Mucky Pup Grooming enough, if Sue will have us we will happily be new clients of Mucky Pup Grooming.

K.Our boy Wicket had a horrendous cut at another groomer before we met Sue at Mucky Pup. Sue listened to what we wanted and gives him the perfect cut every time, he comes home glossy and smelling great. Sue is a vet nurse so we know she will pick up on anything we need to get checked out. The salon is always clean and tidy and there's a fenced area out the back if we arrive early. My kids love choosing a softie for Wicket when he's done. Sues prices are very reasonable for the service she provides and we recommend her to anyone we know with dogs.

Also, as well as her expertise as a groomer - the 'boys' always come back looking wonderful, with a vet nursing background she has a great knowledge of animal care and happily answers any questions we have had. S.Sue is such a patient and caring groomer, my two Toy Poodles have been going to Sue for a few years now and every time they look wonderful, Sue always makes sure she has the correct instructions before you leave and she will offer sound advise. I would recommend Sue to anyone looking for both a groomer and a go to person if advice is required for a great doggy hair style to teeth brushing.
S.Dugald's first grooming was a huge success...he is a 4 month old groodle and a total wimp! Sue took her time to make it a good experience for him and finished it off with a bandana and a cuddly toy. He looks very cute and I will be recommending her services to friends with dogs.
S.:-) Our first time to Sue yesturday. She has a great setup there, with a separate building for grooming the dogs.
After a run at the park to get the 'buzzies' out of him, I took our big dog Luigi (Italian Spinone) for a wash, de-dread, nail clip, ear hair sort out, bits of overdue things that needed attention. Sue was great with him. I left him there for 2 hours. $120.
When I returned he wasn't stressed, still happy for Sue to handle him, I could tell he was fine. She has a nice way about her with the dogs, that was important to me, to not have my dog too stressed.
** Sue did exactly what was initially discussed, there were no surprises, other that a great looking dog. I would totally recommend her.

M.Sue runs a great grooming business. She grooms my dog and after discussing what I want, I'm always happy with his appearance. Sue runs a very efficient booking system, is happy to offer suggestions plus tips and the location is great for me.
S.Molly our Maltese has been going to Sue at Mucky Pups for over five years. She always comes home looking and smelling great. She's always happy to go there (even though she hates water and baths) which tells that she must be treated well. Sue also cleans her teeth which has prevented any dental hygiene issues and does her nails. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
T.I moved from Brisbane, Australia mid-2017 and was looking for a groomer for my Persian cat. I was very lucky to find Sue and have been taking my Persian cat to her ever since. L.We have had some pretty bad experiences with hairdressers in the past, from bad haircuts to a hairdresser nearly pulling our dog around by here collar. After reading reviews we decided they would be the best hairdressers to choice after moving to Hamilton 18 months ago and Mucky Pup Groomers are a dream! . Our dog now loves having her hair cut and is much calmer when we drop her off. We have never had a bad or even average haircut and Mucky Pup are always very flexible fitting haircuts in around our frustrating schedules. Would never go anywhere else and always recommend to friends :)

D.Always pleased with how Oscar my Miniature Schnauzer looks after being to Sue. There is always something different I want and Sue listens and delivers every time. While there may be cheaper groomers the cost is not an issue. Also the price covers a real complete job.

W.Sue has been grooming both my Shih-Tzu crosses for around 4-5 years now. I trust her implicitly with their grooming and all other health-related issues. Not only have I been given expert advice on how to groom them and care for them myself, Sue she has saved our family hundreds of dollars in vet bills by automatically cleaning their teeth and even pulling some when it was absolutely necessary (i.e. when the dogs were in pain/discomfort). Having a registered vet nurse look after your pets have been a major peace of mind of us. As all of her loyal customers will know; Sue is amazing with the pets and she is a pretty amazing lady herself. The fact she is fully booked (always) and don't take on new clients, is testament to that in itself. W :)

Her section is fenced off so was awesome to be able to have my little girl run around for a bit after her beautiful groom. Massive thumbs up and highly recommend. R.We have been going to Mucky Pup's grooming ever since we got Buddy, and now with our second dog Yusuke as well. As a maltese/poodle and maltese/poodle/Pomeranian our boys need regular attention to look their best and I like Sue's service because she covers everything from their teeth, to his ears and claws as well as their very wooly coats. Our gorgeous boys always comes back looking fantastic, and they LOVE going to see her. Sue also gives the dogs a general health check, and she has alerted us to issues about their health in the past.

Molly is now looking so great, Sue always cleans and checks her teeth, gave us great dietary advice for mollys skin, and my kids love that molly comes home with a toy after her groom. She is really obliging with fitting mollys appts into my work timetable as well. She is the first groomer that we have been 110% happy with how molly has been groomed. I would never go anywhere else, she really is the best.

l.She did a great job on my cat last yr and while grooming we noticed lumps in his ears...I went straight to the vet... so with out her i wouldnt have known about these lumps... the vet said they could have got so big they would have filled his ear canal .... ...so I'm forever grateful she saw them. .... just had my baby shaved again and again great job.... she knows exactly what's she's doing.... would highly recommend

Would thoroughly recommend this groomer. She always does what is asked , and really knows her stuff, as a previous veterinary nurse. Very trustworthy and efficient. Very caring person.
