Reviews of Steele Park

I love the two small trampolines at the steele park playground. They have swings, sea saws, things to climb, a huge field to relax under the shade in or play a little game of touch or cricket. I've seen others play frizzbee aswell. There is also duck island icecream that is squarely across the road from the Steele Park playground. Kid friendly, with public toilets for males & females. Has a changing room, but it has now been closed down until further notice. Overall I would give the park 3.5 stars.

Large open park with a kids playground here. Good selection of stuff for the kids, and great bring next door to duck island ice cream. Toilet facilities and lots of seats/ picnic tables and lots of sports played here as well. Great central location in Hamilton east.

Always go there with my kids to relax under the tree. Nice play area for the kids as well. ❤

Awesome park bordered by massive shady Oak trees. Children's playground tucked in the corner with public restrooms available. Hamilton East shopping centre next to the park provides plenty of food options.

Lovely place to sit and eat lunch under the shady trees.

Awesome ground, but needs to cut grass bit more fir better outfield.

Good place to quickly walk your dog on a lead if your waiting for the after school pick up. Be on the look out for broken glass, bottle caps, and syringes from people who tend to loiter around after hours.
