Reviews of The Sculpture Park at Waitakaruru Arboretum

What an epic walk just a short drive out of Cambridge. We’ll worth the entry fee of $15 for adults, there lots of sculptures and native and some not so native fauna scattered throughout the walk. Spacious, quiet, peaceful, great for kids and adults alike, there is just plenty to see and learn here, it wouldn’t be hard to spend half a day wandering in these forests. Loved the experience.

We are Kiwi tourists and very much enjoyed our walk around the sculpture park. It’s still a work in progress but the early work at the top of the walk is really well established and well worth the walk. Interesting layout too

amazing place to visit, huge selection of different trees, with over a hundred sculptures hidden amongst them, perfect day out for all the family

I've been before and it's been changed since then. There are a lot more sculptures and the route has changed. All the sculptures are worth discussion. There are political and social points made and simply elegant, beautiful pieces. Some, I simply didn't get, but that's the fun of it. Peaceful and quiet, I meandered for a couple of hours, stopping to look and feel and listen and came away refreshed and relaxed. For information's sake, there was no cafe open and the toilets are a little bit away from the entrance, so be prepared. This does not detract from the experience.

Beautiful gardens with a wide variety of sculptures. Must visit again soon :)

Always a great place to visit. The art on display changes. Great to see it during different seasons.

This is a brilliant place to visit. Peaceful, pretty, great variety of art and all viewed at a reasonable cost. Such great vision and work accomplished by the owners. Excellent place to visit and enjoy. Bring your own lunch/snacks as there is a great covered picnic area available to all. Strongly recommended.

Really lovely place to go. We had a great 2 & a half hour walk through the sculptures and beautiful trees, shrubs & ponds that are there.
Amazing what the owners have done to make this place.

An absolutely amazing destination for the Leave, tranquillity and stunning plants and trees.
Steep steps to climb initially, but smooth walking thereafter.
The landscaping is wonderful and it was a pleasure to stroll through the venue.
