Absolutely stunning, especially on a good day when you can see for miles. Such breathtaking views. It's a steady uphill walk all the way to the top, and the knees like to complain on the way down, but the sights at the top are worth the effort. Obviously not really wheelchair friendly but there are toilets close to the start of the walk. It recommends 60min return walk, I did this in 35mins at a good pace, not including the time taken to enjoy the views.

Great little walk up above Hanmer. It is a nice gradual incline that will take about 15 to 20 minutes up through the trees. The views of the town have now been lost a little by the tree growth but the surrounding scenes are pretty.

This was well worth the steep climb. They have benches along the way for anyone needing a rest and when you reach the summit you are greeted with a 360 degrees lookout that is breathtaking.

Short 30 minute walk on a winding track to the top of Conical Hill. The views from the top are glorious. The Lewis Pass basin in the distance is spectacular. Don't go to Hanmer without doing this short walk, it really shows you the beauty of the local area. Walking level...moderate, it's a bit of a climb.

This is must so hike or trek while visiting Hanmer Springs. The view from top are mesmerising. Not very tough to do. You don't need any gears to do it. Only thing is at few spots it's a bit steep walk else easily doable. One to One an hour is enough to do it from site office which is the main pick up and drop spot. On top their is a small house with seating arrangement.

This is the house at the very top of Conical Hill. Very rewarding when you finally arrive after the steep walk, with amazing views in all directions. It took us around 45 mins to get to the top, zig zagging back and forth. It's said that everyone who visits Hanmer Springs enjoys this walk, so you should try if ever in the area.
