Reviews of Hanmer Springs
L. P.Hanmer Springs is a resort town located 65 kilometres southwest of Kaikoura (135 km by car), in the Hurunui District and 130 kilometres northwest of Christchurch. The town’s main feature is the Hot Springs. There are restaurants and motels as well as a youth hostel. Jet boating,bungy jumping, mountain biking and bush walking are popular as well. At certain times during the year it may be possible to take a guided tour by 4WD through Molesworth Station, New Zealand’s largest cattle station.
