K.On a rainy day, sometimes the best thing to do is to go to the movies. We went here and it was the first time we have been to the movies since March 2020! And the last time I came to this movie theatre (years ago), it was rickety and old! It has now been completely modernised and updated and can easily compete with the big cities in terms of facilities. While not lazy boy type chairs, they are extremely comfortable inside small and intimate sized theatres. Book in advance with covid red traffic light restrictions in Northland (difficult to do on the spur of the moment) or have a plan B (which we did - a second movie choice). A most pleasant experience as far as movie theatres go! Go, you won’t be disappointed, at least not by the facilities (I can’t speak to the choice of movie, lol!).
P.Love this cinema so conveniently placed in town. Join up to their loyalty card an alot cheaper to get in.
F.There isn't much to do in Kerikeri when the weather doesn't cooperate. It's really nice to have a modern movie theater in such a small town...

At the ticket sale, the older lady did not help one f#@%! bit to give me a discount, where as JP did it for me 72 hours earlier, without my loyalty card.
K.Fun night watching 'Cruella'. Great that everyone made the effort re the dress code. Comfy seats. Enjoyable movie.

J.Disappointed that they decided to darken the cinema during the local ads, yet bring the lights up to 100% for the coming attractions. Finally when the feature started (rise of skywalker) they decided to start a slow fade of the house lights which didn’t have the room dark until half of the classic yellow text scroll had disappeared. Quite possibly the worst intro they could have pulled off. Most impressive.
A.Always great service and clean facilities. We find that whenever we go to movies in The Hall, the sound feels like it needs to be turned up a notch...! Not the end of the world, but could definitely add to some high impact movies.
M.What I like about this cinema is that it is never over crowded. You can turn up 10 minutes before the movie starts the probability of being guaranteed a seat is high.

J.The cinema is pretty great considering we are in the far north however not up to EVENT cinema quality so don't go epecting top notch quality and the food is far overpriced which is sad considering your only allowed food bought at the cinema in the cinema however this doesn't affect the generally good cinema quality :-)
