J. G.A great way for anyone to earn points on their membership card. They even send you an invite to a free movie on the month of your birthday. The food is great and the restaurant is always very popular especially in the evening. I love the platters.
T. N.The seafood chowder was outstanding ,salmon salad most impressive and nachos enjoyed .Focal Point Cafe extremely busy and food took some time but it was well worth the wait .Lovely staff ,uplifting atmosphere .

Location - movie theater and cafe in one, no stairs unless for upper cinema, just off state highway one, walking distance to Levin mall, free parking with lots of options, indoor-outdoor cafe seating, frequented by senior locals.
Goods - great coffee, lemon shortcake slice and lemon sour cream cake are AMAZING, freshly cooked food, med price range, clean cafe/cinemas/toilets.
Return - Already returned and will keep on coming! Definitely recommend!

K. J.Mixed review, to be honest! Most of the time, I'll have amazing food but on the odd occasion, it is disappointing. Service is always great though and the atmosphere is nice. For the times the food has been perfect, it's been worth the times it hasn't, but it sucks cause I am really poor so a little part of me dies when I spend money dining out on food I don't enjoy. Coffees have always been great. The baking is pretty good but sometimes weird. If the baker is reading this, please start making chewy choc chip cookies :) .

The Bao bun was Yum, chips were hot, crisp and tasty. My friend had the curried egg on ciabatta. Her coffee was good but was disappointed there was no sparkling water. Will definitely revisit.

Tried this place a few times during our stay in Levin, was always spot on. Can get busy, but generally no problem finding a table. Price wise it's about average.

I. a. A.Focal point trys to please. They were very busy today with a full cafe and a children's party happening. Food was well presented and tasted great. The prices however I find a wee bit expensive for what we ordered and the amount of food we got. The movie experience is good since you can relax in the theater with a bite to eat and glass of wine or cup of coffee.

R. K.On the 1st of April we celebrated our wedding at Focal Point. The reason to go to this venue was the the great good and staff experience we had on previous visits and again, at the party, the food was amazing as well as the staff.
We had the possibility to decorate the small glassed venue our selves and FP lit their gas burners to give some extra ambience!
I cannot recommend FP highly enough, they truly are amazing. Tonight we’ll go again. Not for a wedding this time but just to have a great meal and a great time
J.Decent movie theatre. The screening was good and I enjoyed the film. But the inside was not very clean. It smelled like the inside of the play area at McDonalds. Kind of like feet and there was popcorn all over the underside of the seats.

P. K.My partner and I stopped by for lunch on a weekday afternoon, and it was a VERY busy place with around 15-20 tables occupied and plenty of good looking meals being served.
It was a hot day so we tried the “French” anti-pasto plate ($25), and pretty much polished it off with the help of a couple of beers.
Overall, this place is a nice smart place to eat, with a jazzy city feel about it. Well worth visiting if you are in Levin.

Focal Point offer a healthy child's lunch option, the only in town that I have found. Chick flicks and competitions are always on offer, an excellent cafe during the day.

G. P.A lovely boutique movie theatre that caters gor young and old viewers. Refreshments range from standard ice creams and popcorn to bruschetta and wine. It boasts two cafe/restaurants. The menu is reasonably priced. The theatres comprise plush one and two seaters that are very comfortable.

Both were cooked perfect. After going to many restaurants in Auckland this restaurant has outdone Auckland. Well done. Tried submitting review on Zomato, but the app could not find Levin.

a. m.Great place to go for some food and a movie.....be careful though , dont pick up your tickets first from the back booth near the toilets. They have a meal and ticket promotion on the main board which we found out later after buying the food and tickets seperately. We were knocked back from trying the promotion after buying our tickets.
B.Awesome little cinema. Definitely the most comfortable seats in the Horowhenua, Manawatu region. You won't regret viewing movies here. 👍👍👍👍👍☆☆☆☆☆
