C.Great park with a big outdoor area. restrooms are at the moment closed.
V.Grass area's not open yet. Closed off over winter. Toilets locked. Would be lovely spot in summer. Will come back.

T. B.More suited to families wanting a larger area for games perhaps. The river is nice enough, though when we went, the access was awkward since a 4WD had chewed up the road. Make a good dog walk though.

S.Great spot,huge grassed open field adjacent to the river. We had a refreshing late evening soap free swim to replace our shower. Absolutely poured rain most of the night, ground got quite saturated. Good toilet facilities and easy to find on Google maps and a short distance along a bitumen road from the highway turn off. Situated approximately 1.5 hrs north from Wellington. Highly recommend people stay here. Remember: you will need a camp permit
