We stopped again on our way North. We purchased strawberry's asparagus and many other products. The Strawberry's and Asparagus are to die for. So fresh and last. Don't find strawberry's going off etc. Be back again

Oh My God..... The strawberries here are amazeballs. You Must try the chocolate covered ones Great ice cream and a nice play area for the kids.... They do stock other local produce and sell massive 2kg jars of jam Either way every time I'm up there I go in and buy something .......deffinately worth it

Genuinely some of the best strawberries I have ever consumed, and I eat a ton of strawberries. Juicy, sweet and not too sour at all and found myself eating them continuously. The whole package didn't even last a whole two days.

Great place to come with kids and treat yourself. They have strawberries, raspberries, jam, ice-cream, asparagus, bread and coffee. Good playground for your school kids. Friendly staff, nice service. The sorting line is partially exposed to visitors so you can see how fruits and veges are being packed. Would be five stars if they do pick your own.

Stopped by with the Levin Harriers Club, for icecream. Which was very good. A bit crowded, had to wait in-line, about 15 people in front of us. They only have raspberry icecream - so don't get excited about diversity. Everyones gets raspberry icecream. 😆 500g of raspberry- 13$ NZD 1kg raspberry- 25 $ NZD Asparagus - prices vary from 12 or 13$ up depending on size and quality. Loved the kids playground. Wish they had farm tours or pick ypur own strawberry options, didn't see anything entertaining for turists. Migh be wrong, hope Im not mistaken and I missed it.

Oh how this place has developed in the last 15 years. My first visit was bringing up a school group for calf season and practical learning. At the time it was all about asparagus. Coming back as strawberry picking happened (don’t think you can do this now) through to what we have today. A must stop for icecream and a play on every road trip.

Best fresh fruit ice cream in the north island. Fresh asparagus, strawberries and blue berries available to purchase. Artisan products available as well. Outdoor seating, children’s playground and toilet facilities are also available and make it a great stop during a road trip. PYO not available.

Their strawberries taste is very consistent, you can expect sweet juicy strawberries in every bite. It's worth driving up to the farm and buy a kg of them every week.

I don’t think this place needs a review because it is super busy, and I completely understand why. The fresh strawberries 🍓 are honestly the best I have ever tasted. The asparagus rolls fresh and delicious and the real fruit ice cream is to die for. Oh and the service is awesome 🙌 I love this place. Definitely recommend a visit and bring the kids. They have an awesome outdoor shaded seating area and playground ❤️

I had an amazing time at Lewis Farms. It is a farm, shop, and cafe. The shop was really cool. The cafe was really nice. I had both a strawberry milkshake and strawberries covered in whittakers chocolate. The pricing was reasonable and they tasted delicious. Also the staff were nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend coming to Lewis Farms for strawberries and more

Bit disappointing, have always wanted to stop on way past and finally did to order coffee & get strawberries. Which are nice big berries, although a bit expensive! Luke warm coffee and a piping hot fluffy weren’t ideal. But kids playground was great.

Fresh green & purple asparagus & (red) strawberries, all packaged & ready for you. They sell different grades to asparagus. We return time & again during the season. The strawberries taste like real strawberries. They also do ice creams. Plenty of parking & a playground for the kids with outdoor seating for a rest. Great rest spot, especially if returning to Wellington from places north. Please take care exiting onto SH1.

Amazing quality strawberries and asparagus! Their delicious fresh strawberry icecream or frozen yoghurt is not to be missed! They also offer a range of other delights, including rather good coffee and fresh cafe items, along with jams, crackers, eggs and sauces from local small businesses. There's a playground for the kiddies and a few tables under the shade sails to sip your coffee and eat your icecreams at. Great place to visit for produce and a treat or two!

Great place and beautiful Strawberries. However I asked for an iced latte (same as regular coffee but iced) and had to pay the same price for an ice coffee with icecream. Did ask the lady why the price isn't same as normal coffee and wasn't given much respect. So extra $2.00 for ice😂.not very good service.

We make special trips to Lewis Farms when asparagus is in season. Strawberries are more expensive than supermarkets, but they are worth the extra $ because they actually taste like strawberries. Good coffee & delicious ice creams. Outdoor tables where you can watch kids in the play ground. I recommended this place for a rest. Please drive slow on the driveway.

Strawberry picking from Christmas till Jan 15th ($4 entry + $10 a kilo). Also locally grown raspberries, asparagus, honey for sale, well priced. Real fruit ice creams and a playground are lovely on a hot day.

If you are driving down SH1 then stop here! Beautiful asparagus in season and delicious strawberries. The coffee is top notch and the real fruit strawberry icecream is worth the stop. Also enjoy the farm environment and beautiful view of the Tararua Ranges. Great for kids.

Went to Lewis Farms yesterday, we didn’t realize they no longer do pick your own which was disappointing but we bought a few punnets of the most delicious berries and had some icecream which I was pleasantly surprised to find out they do dairy free and gluten free options for.

Stopped for 2 coffees to go. Delish. Great flavoursome taste, hot but not burnt. Got Asparagus.. OMGOSH.. Devine. Had a few Fresh raw.. Then par boiled rest for party rolls. They have Strawberries, (I didn't try them) and Honey. There is an area to sit outside. Worth the stop.

Lewis Farms goes from strength to strength, not only does it grow wonderful produce but it is also a great rest stop. Coffee and icecream are served, there is outdoor seating with large shade brollies and a well designed play area for younger children to let off steam.

This was a fantastic place that someone told me about, was really impressed at the local grown Vegetables, picked up coffees on the way thru to foxton, coffees were amazingly tasty.
