A.The beach is not good, but it seems a nice place to have a rest
P.Yes. Here is somewhere just secret enough

K.We refer to it as the "interesting beach" when deciding which beach to walk our dogs at because it has large grassy feilds to run in and shell covered beach which can be a good swimming spot and garden pathways amongst the bunny tails.
b.Disc golf. What more can I say.
Would be nice to get some better signage as plenty of times people picnic in just the wrong places completely shutting of a hole or two.
A.Awesome walk in the park!
C.Lovely place to walk the dogs, including access to one end of the beach where dogs are allowed off-lead. There's also Frisbee golf. Toilets are a bit grotty, but there are better ones near the children's play ground if you follow the path towards Petone. Beach is crushed shells. Also used by sail-boarders occasionally.

L.Great area for dogs to run around off lead. Large green field, plenty of trees for shade. BYO drnking water and doggy bags, lots of rubbish bins.

S.Quiet and relaxing by the river
T.attended a "bike fun run" event on Sunday.. not sure if it was a fundraiser but it was definately sponsored with food, drink & entertainment for riders who completed the course from Akatarawa to the reserve on Petone foreshore..
M.We take our Hutt Valley Schnauzer walks here. 20 to 30 s hnauzer can enjoy the sea and the park. We even went today in the pouring rain and it was still great
I.Great disc golf course, watch out for the dog poo and rubbish though
O.Disk golf course was fun, great area. Kids were able to ride safely around with very little traffic. Great spot

K.Great spot. Sitting here looking at the ocean. Easy access to the beach. Lots of park area to walk, walk dogs and play with children.
M.Pretty place with parks, seats, shade, sea and river views. When the lemony, fennel flowers are in full bloom and laces the river banks on a fine day, the resultant postcard views are simply fabulous! Wonderful place for a picnic or a walk. On the seaward side the rolling hills and coastal vistas are just as commanding.
If you are lucky you may spot the busy, little, yellow tug-boat and the orange digger hard at work dredging the estuary bottom, an activity your kids may enjoy watching. Be quick though as these moments are all too fleeting ... cos she's "rollin', rollin', rollin' down the river" !
There's not much chance of solitude because other folks are also out and about and you will likely encounter the new whiz-kid in town, viz., the ubiquitous lime-scooters.
B.Lovely spot for a community gathering. Could have a few more full sized trees, but there was enough shade if we followed the sun. Excellent for kite flying
R.Needs a bit a love but all in all a good spot
D.It's not too bad. Considering its closeness to Seaview I would say it is even outstanding, since water quality is acceptable and it is quite common to see black swans, on top of the omnipresent ducks and seagulls.
C.Another great place for dog walkers, also a frisbee park thats mapped out at the carpark. Dog bags, tap and dog bowl so there is a place to water your dogs after a walk. Love it, its quiet, well maintained and has great veiws of the harbour.
C.Lovely park and beach for dogs. There is a monthly small dog meeting happening on the first Sunday of each month.

P.Hikoikoi reserve is a good place. You can have a picnic there and you can go for walk at the beach
J.Very pretty cluster of boatsheds next to a beautiful park at the mouth of the Hutt River. Tiny community of fishers.
