A beautiful, wide, sandy beach that is great for relaxing, sunning, or swimming. It is usually not very crowded, and there is plenty of parking along the roadside. Don’t miss this scenic beach when you are in the Manghawai area!

Beautiful! Impressive scenery and clean. Cars or any vehicles must be allowed only on a certain side access road, between selected hours, maybe, and not all across the beach, whenever. Let us take good care with our mother nature.

Awesome place!!! A bit rough waves at high tide, as the beach is quite stip, bat the most time is just paradise :)

This is a stunning beach, great water and plenty of pohutukawa trees to get some shade. Good surf for body boarding and you can take the dogs off leash until Xmas! (No dogs over Xmas holidays).

This is another pristine New Zealand White sandy beach. There’s a little coffee cart in the parking area on most days. Lang’s Beach always seems to be clean and tidy. The swimming here is safe for little ones and it’s just so relaxing and dreamy. Highly recommended for a swim in the sea.

Great beach to swim at with the added bonus of trees to provide shade on a day out. Plenty of space for a good long walk and great rocks for walking are adjacent. Ding Bay just North is also a beautiful spot, easily accessible during lower tides. Parking is reasonable on a good day and having a toilet nearby is definitely handy while at the beach with kids.

A lovely example of a small New Zealand beach. Sandy with a small amount of grassy area. Some places to buy drinks and snacks close by but limited space for parking. Going on a weekday you will avoid busy times and enjoy the place nearly to yourself. Remember to take away with you any trash and keep our beaches clean and beautiful for all.

Great eastern beach up north to go to in summertime with shops close by. White sand and clear sea on nice days with good surf. About an hour and a half drive north of Auckland And very popular beach.
