Reviews of Totara Springs Christian Centre
S.I'm not impressed with the cabins. They were unclean and gross. There were dead flies on the shelves and holes in the walls and we had cockroaches and mosquitoes in the middle of the night.
The water slides were super duper fun though, I was so disappointed when it ended. The food was also okay I guess. The cups were dirty, I think they were just old. But the staff was super nice and the activities were super fun :)
N.First Easter camp and an amazing and fantastic time. Thank you to Chris, all the volunteers, and staff who made our experience at Totara Springs a truly memorable one. A great way to celebrate Easter.
B.Absolutely incredible place. I’ve been coming here pretty regularly for almost three years now and I could not recommend it enough. Hot springs pool, river activities, abseiling, frisbee golf course, rugby field, indoor gymnasium, zip line (flying fox), clean facilities and really great staff. Couldn’t ask for anything more, and I will continue to come here for as long as I can.

H.Wonderful weekend, another awesome Easter camp
T.Highly organised, clean and tidy, we'll equipped facility with friendly caring staff. This place provided our children with a plethora of sporting experiences. The social development, self management, team spirit, risk taking, relationship building etcetera etcetera were by-products of being in this happy and safe environment.
O.If you are looking for a place for camp with great facilities the place to go. It also houses our range of camps for ages 9 to 18
W.My only regret is not knowing this place when I was younger. Every camp is different, fun and the people there are friendly and warm. A great place to forget about normal life and connect with God. Excellent facilities as well!

M.Very spacious camp site, great for loads of different camps. They can convert the gym into an auditorium or leave it for sports camps. Good atmosphere at the camp site.
M.Fantastic experience for the kids at school camp, massive range of activities for all ages. The accommodation is best for both kids and parents/teachers, fully catered with awesome food and constant reinforcement of important values, particularly group responsibility and looking out for each other. Archery, flying fox, abseiling, rock wall, swimming holes, water slides, the amazing foam slide (camp highlight for many), go karts, group challenges, heated outdoor pool, gymnasium, amazing rural setting and so much more. Thanks to all the brilliant staff, such a memorable experience

A.Great camp with awesome activities. It's a Christian camp that is also available to groups over 50 people. We went on a year 5 and 6 school camp. Food was great, activities and helpers awesome. Aside from saying grace before eating the christianity isn't stuffed down your throat.

S.Excellent family camp .... my kids loved it, so much to do ... waterslides, airriffles, hot pool, movie nights, go karts, mini golf, top town event and much much more. We'll definitely be going back again.
H.Love our yearly scrapbook weekends here. Have been going for about 10 years now. The last couple if years I have noticed that the variety of food has reduced and the lack of sauces, gravies and salad dressings has almost disappeared. It us such a beautiful venue, cosy and clean rooms but as the cost seems to increase every year I wonder why we are given less and less choices each time.
N.This place is lovely. Safe and exciting. I'd love to hear them using a little more te reo maori. Our tamariki had a great time. Ngā mihi
K.My son Kody Irwin year 6 and his mates spent a week at the camp and they had a great time with lots to do this is the first time away for Kody I’m jealous that I couldn’t have been there as well so if you want your kids to have a safe time away this place is highly recommended by us all.
R.Our son loves his trips to the jkids camps at Totara Springs. The staff and volunteers are friendly, grounds and facilities well maintained and a host of activities to choose from ensures there's never a shortage of fun, smiles and laughter.
f.Awesome place for youth camps or in our case sports canp. Awesome facilities. Pool, playground, feilds hall and caters for nearly every sport. Great food for lunches and dinner's. Well priced for day visiters. Awesome location under the view or Kaimai ranges!

N.Always fun going here. Hanging in the pool at night with fellow campers is chill and fun and I love it. Also all the activities, the food and the staff here are great.
I.Stayed here for a Football Tournament. Staff were exceptional and very flexible with changes to our fixtures. The facilities are first rate and being regularly updated.
