C.It's a beautiful place especially during summer where you can chill by the beach or take walk. On hot days you can find ice cream and there are coffee shops too. Public showers and toilets are ideally located along the footpath next to the surf guard house.

P.It's a popular beach for swimming and surfing during the high season, yet a peaceful and lovely area to walk around the rest of the year. Located not far from the city centre, you can get there by local bus 8. (about 15min ride). There are also a few cafes and eateries along the way. Nearby you also find the Saint Clair Hot Salt Water Pools. It's an outdoor hot salt water pool built on a beautiful site at the southern end of St Clair beach. The pool is heated to 28 degrees Celsius and is a mixture of salt and chlorinated water. A cafe operates year round at the facility. It is open from 9am-5pm daily. St Clair Pool opens for the summer season in October and closes end of March.

M.Stunning location. Gorgeous sand and good waves (to the south end, the surfers appear to gather in a small area, so I presume it's good surf there).
A reasonable walk from town (took us about 90 minutes roughly from the uni) but for the most part it is a walk along suburban streets of no real note.
Lovely place to frolic in the water and then grab a coffee at one of the lovely cafes.

D.Beautiful surf beach, great for walking, eating, surfing. heated saltwater pools with great cafe. Perfect place for gazing out to sea or walking along beach to St Kilda. If you want to challenge yourself Jacobs Ladder is close by. Spot seals in water or on sand dunes.
A.Located within the city limits this the perfect beach to visit on the seaward side. We stayed just down the road, enjoying walks along the beautiful esplanade and taking in the salt air, it is very popular with surfers looking for the perfect break. There are eateries and cafes to enjoy, however, for us, you cant beat fish n chips, (sourced by local chippies in the area) on the esplanade watching the sun set.

B.very fun :) got ice cream from the Zoo Cafe :) good ice cream good park and very good beach I played sand wolves with my 2 friends once and we stayed there for the whole day :)

K.Beautiful beach big rolling waves good for surfing. Clear aqua coloured water in waves. Cold water don't know how the locals swim. Good for long walks if no wind. Several good cafes down st clair end.
