The team at Pearl Hair make living worthwhile. I hadn’t trusted anyone with my hair in years and John and Debs made it so I was comfortable to have fun again. They’re creative, professional, stylish and talented, they really look after you very well. Pearl is my favourite place to visit and I can’t wait to go back there again.

Amazing! Such a cool crew, I felt very welcome and the communication was fantastic. John was happy to try a few different things to see what looked best. (Even sorted out my eyebrows which i didn't realize were so terrible until they were fixed) 🤣 easily the best haircut experience I have had to date.

John and Debbie run a wonderfully relaxed and welcoming salon and have a super team of quality stylists. It’s not your standard salon; being artists, there’s a range of artwork on the walls and quality music being played. Drinks are provided, along side care and a real eye for detail. Five stars isn’t enough!

Pearl is by far the BEST hairdressers in Napier! Love having my hair cut there. Incredibly professional, efficient but HEAPS of fun! What a mix! Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!

The staff at Pearl are fabulous - professional and deeply cool. The Salon decor is interesting, unique and the atmosphere is welcoming. No client comfort is overlooked and the salon is immaculate and well organised. I always feel listened to in my consultations and come out feeling fantastic.

Pearl is not just a hair salon, it’s a whole experience. The space itself is filled with diverse local art, thoughtfully curated. Debs, John and all the staff are as warm and welcoming as they are skilled with hair. As someone with difficult hair, I have never not left Pearl 100% in love with what they have done. These people know hair and they know people. Pearl is a Hawke’s Bay institution with world class service. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I think you can safely assume that as a loyal client since John took over the salon I am more than satisfied with the the skill and professionalism that is offered. Whilst a "senior" client John and Debbie never make me feel out of place even though there is quite a young vibe. Love my visits to Pearl and I am always uplifted by the experience. Thank you guys.
