A.I really liked it here. The staff are friendly and the place is very clean. Also giving food in bags so you can carry everything is very helpful. It was very cheap too. I'm from Hamilton and I went to the movies last week, for 4 people it cost me around $200 for tickets and food. Here, for me and my daughter it cost just under $50 for tickets and food. It's the least I've spent at the movies for years!!
W.Comfortable seating, sadly open waiting area with no public seating due to covid red light settings.
They also allow public to bring in snacks. We still buy popcorn and choc bomb ice cream as a fav.
M.Fair price, easy to book online and pick your seats, popcorn isn't the best last few times we have been though, otherwise nice treat for the kids

Cinema 2 does have a stain on left hand side of screen thou.

L.All Good friendly and helpful staff. Foyer showing signs of wear but hey, it's a pandemic and everyone has been hit Financially. We're all doing our best. I need a cane to walk and I'm fine but the darkness in the theatre can be difficult. Staff have always asked if I need assistance, and they've always been welcoming even under some very tense circumstances. That's worth a lot.

A.Like most movies theaters food and drink are expensive but pretty worth it other than that the seats are nice and it's easy to buy a ticket online
M.We enjoyed a movie here. The cinema was very clean and the video / sound just great. The person selling tickets was very friendly and cracked a joke which I didn't get so just smiled politely in response. I'm sure it was funny, but my hearing isn't what it used to be.
In the initial adverts there was a reminder that this was a Clean Kiwi cinema and that patrons were expected to remove their own rubbish. Fair enough, I say!

A.Ya just can't beat a good sit down at the movies. Staff were friendly and well presented. Covid-19 protocols well in forced with mask wearing and physical distancing all in place.
I don't normally follow the Bond movies but No Time To Die was extremely gripping.
O.Unfortunately the front doors were locked so had to use back entrance, now it's an inconvenience having to walk all the way around back so what's up with that? The price of a mountain dew bottle was $6.00 that's an outrageous price to pay for a drink that costs on special $1.50 surely you can drop the prices of food and drink with that been said we had a awesome movie experience sound was amazing and the theater was nearly empty. I booked online and the price was very affordable only $27.00 for two people, that's the upside to this comment.

J.I love this place. Weve just watched the new Wonder Woman movie and we stayed to chat about it. The cleaning crew just tidied up around us with a smile. Great place. Great service and great value for money. I really reccomend getting a Reading Cinemas Loyalty card for the rewards and discounts!!

B.Really enjoyed everything about this cinema. I saw 'First Man' - the Neil Armstrong film & it was great. The leatherette seats were large & comfortable. The staff were friendly & helpful. Prices are average at $13 each, no concessions / child discounts. Prices of food are typically massively overinflated so bring your own - I did & had no issues bringing it into the theatre. I think they could increase patronage if they dropped the price of tickets to $10 like readings in Wellington which is much busier since the price decrease. Edit: not so busy anymore - readings Courtenay is closed for the time being. Napier: Maybe don't drop the price. Just in case.

J.I use this cinema quite often. It shows a good selection of films and I think it's good value for the cost of a ticket. The seats are comfortable and there's not too much advertising shown before you view your chosen film. It would be nice to have the option to book specific seats as you can in some cinemas but overall it's a good experience.

P.Staff were friendly and helpful, seats large and comfy (with additional cushions available for the vertically challenged), cinema was clean and tidy. Good sound system, only drawback was the standard multiplex issue of occasional leakage of sound from the movie nect door into ours.

A.Great seating Cinemas Napier, the smell of buttery popcorn when u 1st walk in the double doors is fantastic! The time out games room is awesome and fun games to play and win toys with tickets as you play along. $$1-2 dollars shall do the trick to each game machine.
J.Staff good, cinema good, projection good and seats comfy. Lights came up early, as soon as the credits started. And my, but those audiences cannot keep their comments to themselves. An hour and a half without talking? Apparently impossible.

f.When I was there and the lights were on, all I could see was the dust along the theater drapes. However the price of a movie ticket is still awesome. All the place needs is abit of a spruce up to be satisfactory.

s.One of the cheapest cinemas (tickets) in nz. Great quality cinema for price. Great place to take the kids to see a film and then play a few games in time out. Removed one star because the food costs more than the tickets

K.Love our reading cinema. Its comfy and they do their best to keep it tidy. They are accomodating and friendly. You can take your own goodies in. Napier is lucky.
S.We arrived to a popular movie and found that the seating was limited to the second row. I thought this would be really uncomfortable but it honestly was not a problem and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, seating is very comfortable, friendly staff great movie experience, I will be back.

C.Pop corn on floor but it is school holidays. Mary Poppins Returns is a great movie but spoiled by being far to loud. Not good for childrens young ears. Seating bery comfortable and air conditioning lovely in our heat wave.
J.No air conditioning so was a bit hot in theater. Apart from that, nice movie theater (cinema 4) with comfortable seating. Saw Aquaman which was a good movie.

R.A bit pricey. Staff friendly but the adds go very long so film doesn't start till 15 after starting time. Cinema are very small so can sell out fast.
W.The best priced cinema in New Zealand. Comfortable seating, good sized screens in all 4 theatres. Sometimes lower (sub/lfe) frequencies penetrate through to the adjacent theatre.
B.Good cinema, with the great Reading prices. However, compared to Reading Cinemas in other cities, I find that this one is too small for the population, and tickets to popular movies are often sold out well before the screening time, even when they've been out for a few weeks

M.This is an awesome little cinema and the staff are really friendly and seems like a really fun place to work! Lines can be a bit long at times but get there earlier and theres no issue. Expensive food prices.

h.Went and saw endgame really like the movie but felt the tony stark shouldn't've deid making the wish and the hulk is just a normal human but with a certain type of radiation poisoning and lived through the experience of weild the infinity gauntlet. On the nkte i also feel that avenger infinity gauntlet was a batter movie
