D.They have the best Ruben I've had in New Zealand. Okay, that might not sound like it means much. It doesn't really. However, they make a very good Ruben. I was impressed. The shakes are really good too. The best thing about them is that the interior has been kept very similar to the previous restaurant which had been here for decades.
J.Woke up craving a steak and cheese sandwich for lunch at 2pm, so decided to get a move on, as this establishment close at 3pm.
Nice friendly staff upon arrival , clean a d fresh.
Ordered and cheese steak and it was cooked to order and quickly delivered to my table.
Bread was fresh and crisp not over toasted or soggy, Perfect soft light bread with a nice bite, nice cheese and perfectly seasoned tender steak, with yum jalapenos and onion jam.
Definitely not a philly cheesesteak, no whip here, definitely there own style.

Decide to order a garlic mushroom and cheese sandwich to take away as I did not want food regret.
Nice saute mushrooms and not excessive cheese, perfectly seasoned, and bread was on point again, and all nicely wrapped up to go. $12
Very pleased with my experience and eatting local, definitely not a cheap eat, but delicious
Ps: I look fwd to the owners favorite next time Egg on rye.
K.Absolutely amazing! That Sandwich Place is my go to for lunch The sandwiches are a great size with plenty of filling and the bread is always fresh. They even cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets. I would recommend to anyone!

D.Usually just get coffee here (which is excellent) but just had the cheese steak toasted sandwich and now I need to try everything on the menu. Great value, great taste, great service. This has secured a spot on my list of favourite places in napier
W.Sandwiches are outrageously good. Not enormous but very well priced for their size and very filling. Decor is really cool, semi-diner & deco style. Super friendly staff and fast service too.

bread is always fresh and soft for the sandwiches, and perfectly toasted for toasties. Fillings are generous and delectable, I've almost tried everything so far. The steak toastie and Italian Melt are top tier, and I'm always craving for more afterwards, but mind you they're super filling!

D.This is a welcome addition to the Napier food map. Quality gourmet sandwiches made with skill and precision. Toast sandwiches which the filling doesn't fill out of and the right bread for the right sandwich is not an easy thing but it's done right here

O.brother went in and brought a couple steak and onion sandwichs and m=oh my, probably one of the best toasties ive ever had.. and ive made my fair share of late night drunken toasties but they dont come close
